Cibo has always been a favorite of mine for as long as I can remember. Since March 2020, this is the 1st time I've actually had this food - and I'm really happy that most all of my favorites taste exactly the same. The pop-up kiosk tucked away in a relatively open area near the Globe store followed safety protocols and social distancing. Staff was attentive but at all times kept distance and were wearing face masks and face shields. I really love their Pate di Fegatto which is a chicken liver paté. They serve it with either sliced, toasted bread or in a panini with sauteed mushrooms and cheese. Both are equally good. ( I ate the panini there, but got the spread/bread for take-away). I looked for their Rigatoni il Bruto which seemed to be absent from their new, placemat-style menus. The server said she'd ask the kitchen if they could still prepare it, and that's how I got one of my favorites even if it wasn't on the menu anymore. The Osso Brussco (Beef Shank) served with rice pilaf was the same. The melting bone marrow in the center of the shank was creamy and flavorful as expected. Overall, great food, great attention paid to safety protocols, and great service from one of my favorite places to eat. Can't wait to come back for more!

Update 07/25/2023 It's my birth month, and we (my wife and I) decided to have lunch here. Feeling celebratory, we ordered the steak entree, thinking we'd share it (from the picture, the portion looked enough for two). Whoa! Our pleasant surprise when our order was served. I asked how many grams was the steak, and the reply was "half kilo, sir." Hahaha... the steak was alright (it's Australian beef), but we can not finish it. All-in-all, our dining experience was still 👌, with thecever cordial service of the staff. The food was great 👍, which was as expected per my recent visits to their outlets. During our visit, I remembered a post where a dog pooped by this restaurant. I started noticing a few passersby with their dogs, and I became anxious: wondering if the dogs might do their business. Also, I ordered regular brewed coffee after confirming with them that it's not Americano (their menu is confusing: "Americano Regular Brewed Coffee"). When the coffee was served, the taste was not the brewed Lavazza coffee I was expecting.

Cibo in Eastwood never disappoints! It has become our go-to spot whenever we’re craving quality Italian food. The vibe is cozy and welcoming, perfect for both casual lunches and special dinners. But what really keeps us coming back is their seasonal pasta—a hidden treat that isn’t even on the menu. It’s that good! Another huge plus is how pet-friendly they are. They even provide a bowl for my dog, which makes dining here so much more enjoyable. It’s little gestures like this that make Cibo stand out. Whether you’re dining solo, with family, or with furry friends, this place will always leave you satisfied and eager to return. Highly recommend!

WHY I LOVE CIBO DELIVERY

I am taking time out from my hectic holiday schedule to commend Cibo delivery for a superb performance especially during the peak holiday season. Not all restaurants can claim to be as consistent in the quality of food they serve especially during the peak holiday season, when demand for their food is at the highest. I've been a customer of Cibo delivery the past 2 years and have ordered pasta from them frequently, both during peak and non-peak seasons. The quality of their pasta, both in flavour and the texture of the noodles has consistently been excellent, whether or not demand is high, unlike in some restaurants where quality goes down when customer demand goes up. And the other amazing thing is that even though there's a time gap between food being cooked, delivered then eaten, the quality of food stays the same. How? They are thoughtful enough to pack additional sauce and pasta water to the pasta you order to anticipate the possibility of the pasta absorbing all the sauce and drying it up.

This is why they are my go-to food delivery during peak season important occasions like Christmas day and New Year's day because they are extremely reliable.

To recap, this has been my experience with Cibo delivery :

The quality of their pasta is consistently excellent despite heavy demand. They are open and deliver during Christmas day and New Year's day. It's easy to order online and pay at their site. Orders are confirmed via call to make sure they get your orders accurately. They have their own delivery service so you don't need to look for a rider during the peak holiday season. They text you when the rider is out for delivery to assure you it will arrive on time. The food you order arrives on time.

Take note that the branch assigned to service my location is Cibo Eastwood.

I usually order Farfalle ala Genovese, Penne al Telefono and Linguine alla Ghiotta and Tagliata di Manzo

To order:...
