My girlfriend and I visited this establishment for lunch last weekend.
The steps towards the entrance was littered with trash and dead insects. Upon entering the foyer, only an empty desk with a welcome sign greeted us.
The staff were probably busy during lunch service but it would have been nice if there was someone to greet the customers and assist them to their table.
The interior was forgettable but clean and organized. The place didn't feel cramped for me.
We ordered the following;
Nachos - Hot, crisp nacho chips that's topped off with a blanket of melted nacho cheese, bite-sized chunks of succulent, marinated beef, and freshly cut veggies. A must-have appetizer.
Dinamitas - The presentation was just sad and disappointing. The same goes for the flavor. It lacked any sort of heat that one would expect when eating jalapeno cheese sticks.
Chicken Burrito - Army Navy has nothing when compared to Silantro's burrito. Their burrito is far more robust, tasty, and downright delicious. Their rice alone packs more flavor than whatever dish Army Navy has to offer. And the price is somewhat similar if not more affordable. The chicken was savory and juicy.
Macho Lucha - I just would have hoped that they let the protein rest a bit more in the kitchen before serving it. There was a good amount of blood still that oozed out of the meat. Also, a bit more char on the steak wouldn't hurt. It could also use a tad bit more dry rub to enhance the flavor of the steak a bit more. Nevertheless, it still tasted great. The meat was juicy and tender, it was easy to cut into despite having cartilages show up here and there. The fries were amazing. The seasoning on those potatoes are delicious. I haven't had fries that good in a long time. The gravy was a let down. It was basically Jollibee style gravy. Go for the free sauces to pair with the steak.
The experience was sublime. The wait staff were extremely attentive to the needs of every customer in the restaurant. But the ultimate winner would have to be the fact that for its affordable price, you get top quality food.
Definitely a great location to have a...

This Amazing Mexican Spot
If you’re craving bold, authentic Mexican cuisine with a generous side of hospitality, look no further! I recently had the pleasure of dining at a fantastic Mexican restaurant called Silantro Fil-Mex Cantina (Eastwood Branch) and the experience was nothing short of amazing.
Lucha Tacos stole the spotlight — packed with flavor and served with your choice of lengua, beef, lamb, chicken, or carnitas. The taco was a flavor bomb wrapped in a soft, perfectly grilled tortilla. It was surprisingly tender and rich, while the carnitas were juicy with a beautiful crispy edge. Pro tip: mix and match to get the full experience!
The Caesar salad brought a refreshing balance to the rich meats — crisp romaine, creamy dressing, and a generous sprinkle of cheese and crunchy croutons. A great starter or side dish that didn’t get overshadowed.
Next up: the grilled ribs, tender with a smoky char that hit just right. These ribs were marinated to perfection and grilled with just the right amount of seasoning.
And let’s not forget the beef nachos — a mountain of crunchy tortilla chips layered with savory beef, melted cheese. Perfect for sharing!
Aside from the delicious food, what really elevated the experience was the staff. Every team member we interacted with was accommodating, respectful, and genuinely warm. It’s clear they care not just about the food but also about making guests feel welcome.
Great food, great people, and a menu that delivers on flavor. Whether you’re a taco lover or a rib fanatic, this spot...
Read moreToo bad, our shi tzu-poodle family member (Our family does not consider him a "pet") loves veggie burrito very much. The place, unfortunately, does not allow "pets" inside. So much for a resto serving vegetarian meals and considering that Eastwood is ranked as the most "pet" - friendly place in Metro-Manila. Your place should add vegan options and allow "pet" family members inside the resto. You would be attracting more customers into your market share. By the way, our "pet" family member, I guarantee you, is pampered with frequent baths and a stroller, wears shoes and has more decent toilet habits, compared to other human customers that you have. I hope you'd reconsider your "no pet policy" and add vegan options...
