During my recent dining experience at Manam Eastwood restaurant, I would give it a rating of 3.5 stars. The standout feature of the establishment was undoubtedly the food quality, which I would rate as a solid 4.0 stars. The dishes were flavorful, well-prepared, and showcased a good level of culinary skill. The menu offered a diverse selection of options, catering to different tastes and dietary preferences. Presentation was also on point, adding to the overall dining experience.
However, one area that left something to be desired was the pricing. I felt that the prices were a bit on the higher side considering the portion sizes and overall value for money. While the quality of the food was commendable, the pricing could have been more reasonable to align better with the dining experience offered.
On the positive side, the facility and ambiance of the restaurant were excellent, earning a solid 4.0-star rating. The decor was tasteful, the seating arrangements were comfortable, and the overall atmosphere was inviting. The cleanliness and maintenance of the facility were also noteworthy, contributing to a pleasant dining environment.
Unfortunately, the service aspect of my visit fell short, garnering a 2.5-star rating. The staff appeared overwhelmed and understaffed, leading to slow and inattentive service. There were delays in taking orders, serving food, and attending to customer needs. The lack of attentiveness and proactive service detracted from an otherwise enjoyable dining experience.
In conclusion, the restaurant has its strengths in food quality and ambiance, but areas such as pricing and service could benefit from improvement. With adjustments in pricing strategy and a focus on enhancing service quality, the restaurant has the potential to provide a more satisfying and well-rounded dining experience for...
Read more"no-fail" go to resto! Manam will always be one of the few filo restaurants that's reliable and "di ka mapapahiya". Had our brunch here around 10am. I got a weird craving for sisig that day which is an unusual order for early morning lol. But biting into that crispy and flavorful sisig instantly made me do my happy food dance! We got the M size which became too much at the latter part of my meal since it was just all crispiness and I'm already missing a taste of some lean meat (set your expectation as this has no lean meat).
Their beef salpicao has a generous portion given that we only ordered the S size and it was already enough for 2pax. Love that it was flavorful and easy to chew. But then if you are not a big fan of garlic, note that this has an explosion of it so might be too much for your liking. The garlic overpowered the flavor towards the middle of eating this.
Pinakbet is just regular, always a good idea to add vegetables into the meal.
Tinapa rice tastes exactly as it's name but might not be for everyone as it's salty and fishy - can conflict with all the other flavors.
Their iced coffee is in a smoothie/shake form with boba pearls. Note that the store follows strawless guideline so it was difficult to enjoy this one with a spoon haha. Tastes like regular coffee shake with cinnamon which did help to cut the "umay" after eating a lot.
Will always go back to Manam but to each their own, there might be something that can be too much or too little for your liking :)
Btw, the place started to pack/ be full and noisy around 11:30am! Hard to get a table inside...

Before placing our order, they kindly checked the ingredients of the dishes we chose to make sure they didn’t contain our child’s allergens. They were honest about the limitations—they couldn't customize meals since most are pre-mixed—but we appreciated their transparency and care.
We ordered the Sinigang na Beef Short Ribs in Watermelon and Crispy Fried Plapla with Buro. The sinigang was a standout—the beef was incredibly tender, and the watermelon gave the broth a semi-sweet twist that the kids genuinely enjoyed. The medium bowl was just right for 3–4 people.
The plapla was decent. The buro wasn’t as flavorful as we expected, but it was still nice to reconnect with a Bulacan classic.
Halfway through lunch, the manager approached our table to check in—a gesture we welcomed. I also mentioned how great it would be to include allergy-friendly indicators on the menu for families like ours. They received the suggestion graciously.
The kids cooled off with Mango and Watermelon shakes, and the space was clean with a laid-back ambiance. Service was prompt and reasonable.
There’s a wide range of traditional Filipino dishes with creative twists still left to try, and we’re definitely coming...
