Walked from NHA Elliptical to here in Maginhawa. It was worth it.
Affordable and yum vegan food and drinks. Homey and charming vibes. The tree gives a natural touch. They are warm and accommodating to customers. It was nice to sit outside (covered) as air is cool and fresh this evening.
Love the hamburger and siopao. Burger has two patties, banana blossom and maling flavored. I prefer the regular white siopao over the wheat one, both are asado flavor.
My companion's fave was the palabok. It is big serving for just 100.
The Plant Press coffee was lovely. Bought two, the hot and the iced coffee (smells mouthwatering as it's prepared). For the mocha had a bit of sour note maybe because of plantbased milk. Then the caramel will satisfy the sweet tooth. They also offer tea, smoothies, juice.
The set meal of 2 viands and 1 rice is just 170 pesos and comes with free soup I think (run out na since it's closing time). Chose the talong with ham, and cauliflower pakora which looks like fried chicken.
They even let us sample the dinuguan (black beans), it was legit.
With toilet. With service water. Free wifi. Tissue and condiments on the table.
They have a 399 buffet every other Saturday night.
They used to be in Edsa Caloocan, Namaskar Vegetarian but the location wasn't that popular for vegetarian cuisine.
I guess my only suggestion is to have the estante or display closed to avoid any fly accidentally roaming. But overall the place is very clean. They're...

Read moreLove to have a plant based turo-turo style restaurant along Maginhawa, good for the vegan or vegetarians, or even other people who just want to try new things and eat less meat. They had a good selection of different ulams, and their combo meals were reasonably priced, served with brown rice! They also had a mini grocery of plant based products and vegan alternatives for staples like mayo and bagoong. Apparently they have an eat all you can buffet every month or so, so I'll be checking out their Facebook page to catch...
