Mad Mark's Creamery UPTown Center Katipunan Avenue — Restaurant in Quezon City

I went to the restaurant one afternoon with my 8 year old son for just a quick bite before we head home. My son is very hungry and is quite picky with food he only wanted french fries and iced tea. We could have gone anywhere but it was a hot day and I wanted to have their ice cream which i am very fond of. So we just ordered one french fries and ice tea for my son and an ice cream for me. The waitress said it would take 10 to 15 minutes for the fries. I said okay. While waiting for the fries i went to work and my son played quietly. After answering a few emails i lost track of time and realized that 40 minutes had already gone by. When i asked about the french fries, i found out they had not cooked it yet! So i just told the lady to cancel my order. The waitress who served me did not even say sorry. I was approached by another lady from the cashier and she said " pasensya na po, hindi po nabasa yung order." Or something to that effect. It was 5:40 p.m. and there were only three customers in the whole restaurant and i only had three orders. I would understand if it was peak hours and the restaurant was busy but it was not!. If it was my order that was missed it would have been okay but it was my 8yo son's food who was so hungry so i that's why it's upsetting. When we were walking out that's the only time they offered a free appetizer for my son. While i appreciated that sentiment, they could have told us that when I asked for the bill or when they gave my change. But I was already at the exit. They promise to give us free appetizers next time but it was not written they did not even get my name so i'm not sure how that will happen. Sayang! Favorite ko pa naman ice cream nila. I was so...

First time trying this restaurant and I was surprised how good their food is. A well-lit place with an industrial ambiance look that boasts flavorful freshly churned home-made ice cream of thier own flavor creations in which they became know for. But has excellent meal selections for you to start with before getting on to that awesome dessert. Tried thier signature steak dish, creole chicken and it was uber good. They was grillee beautifully with my preferred doneness which is mid-rare in which the staff will courteously ask you. It come with an option to have 2 or 1 sides. I have chosen, to have the greek salad and mashed potatoes. Was surprised that those dishes was made wonderfully as the steak was tender and well seasoned and the chicken remained juicy with perfect grill marks. Even the sides was above par considering the price point which is under 300 pesos for the quantity and quality of serving. Restaurant also is following the health protocol guidelines for your safety and is kept clean and neat too. Thier Icecream is an experience as it was not your ordinary and typical thing you buy from everywhere else. Taste is delectable, rich and not over on the sweetness. But packs alot of the flavor they want your mouth savor.

I've been strolling and eating at U.P. Town for like 3 years and I just tried Mad Mark's later this year haha. Now I understand why it's always crowded and people line up to eat here.

🐑The food, their chicken dishes are so so goooddd!!! I honestly can't choose between their greek summer grill and greek yogi fried chicken. It's the best best best chicken I've ever had aaaaaaa 🥹🩷🩷🩷 I'm so in love plus their iced tea is so good too! I also love their ice creams! 🍨

🐑As for the value for money, it's like very SULIT! Bcs the foods and desserts are so freakin' affordable for its taste and quality! 😋👍🏻

🐑Service - it's good, like I don't have a hard time trying to get any of the server's attention whenever we needed something and I think they're accommodating naman.

🐑Atmosphere and interior - I think the interior and its atmosphere was set for a "barkada or hangout" vibe but it's kinda kay lang, I think they can do better but well, it's their store and what matters is the taste of their food which is greaattt!

🐑I just wish that they would always serve their curry. Bcs every single time we visit here, the sapporo curry was always not available. :(( we've been dying to taste Madmark's Curry lol 🍛
