Pancake House — Restaurant in Quezon City

6 yrs ago: The food was okay, but the mall is under construction that's why the ambiance is not good.

Jul 2023: I ordered thru Grabfood for self pickup thinking they were still closed. But when I arrived they already opened at 8am. Wrong info on operating hours.

The food should have been ready by 8:16 but it went out the kitchen at exactly 8:24.

Sept 2023: I ordered the Meal Set B which includes half portion of spaghetti, garlic bread, hamburger steak with gravy and house taco.

The spaghetti is salty by itself. It makes it even saltier when you eat it together with the garlic bread 😱

The hamburger steak is so-so. I had a few sinew(fibrous part) from the patty itself.

The taco shell they used is not corn tortillas but something else. It's crumbly than usual and it's color white. I dunno if it's house made or store bought but it gave their tacos a weird taste and texture.

Lastly, the iced tea is watered down. Overall, the food is very disappointing 👎

May 2025: The newly renovated branch finally opened its doors, and it felt like a charming breath of fresh air! The space is incredibly inviting and spacious, perfect for hanging out. I decided to try their 2-piece pan chicken paired with a refreshing cucumber lemonade for takeout. To my delight, my order was ready in under 30 minutes! What a delightful experience! 🥰

June 2025: I finally treated myself to my all-time favorite—House Special Set A! I've really missed this delicious dish. They’ve also launched some exciting new items: coolers, shakes, and waffles from the Strawberry Creation Series that sound absolutely tempting! I can’t wait to head back and try...

We purchased a take out order for lunch today. The price in the menu is different from the receipt they gave us, so my boyfriend asked bakit iba yung nasa receipt. At first, they told him that the menu is not updated and the prices have already increased. But he’s adamant at that time. Then the cashier told him that they will reprint the receipt. When the “reprinted” receipt arrived, naging 1400+ nalang yung bill from 1730! So what happened there? Also, they will charge 10% handling fee per food item if you’re going to take-out your orders, plus, walang cutlery. 🫠We’ll not go back to PANCAKE HOUSE WILCON VISAYAS...

Ordered the adobo something and the pancake waffle duo.

To be straight, the pancake was good and neutral at the same time while the waffle was just bland and too hard. The whipped butter was SO sweet I had to remove it all because it was too much. Adobo was fine but had to need a lot of vinegar to balance it out. Iced tea was also too sweet, the orange juice was not available 😕
