Affordable ramen with a comfortable dine-in experience. The table is still covered with a plastic mat reminiscent of the brands protocol during covid time. I guess they stuck with it for quick clearing and sanitation reasons. I did find it a bit warm and plasticky. It reminds me of furniture wrapped with plastic on it that you have to sit on. Let's get into the ramen. The serving size matches the price range. Ratio of toppings to noodles is a little on the light side naturally given the price points. However the strong and distinct flavor of the broth will last you throughout the meal, long before the cha shu and ajitsuke tamago is gone and the noodles remain. The Bari Kara is the spiciest among the ramen in their menu. I was gently reminded by the staff before I ordered. It also took the longest time to come out from the kitchen. Truth be told after tasting the broth, the dreaded heat I was anticipating wasn't really there. Anyway do STIR the broth well enough to balance and even out the spices or else you end up with patches that clings to the noodles and it will irritate the throat a lot. The sweet Chicken Nanban is crunchy and tasty. It can offset the spicy taste of your food and I did find it to be a good pairing for the Bari Kara. Service is very good and the staff is friendly, courteous and accommodating. The broth is intense but not as smooth, clear and complex as the other ramen shops in the mall. Factor in the price points, portioning and taste profile... I did find it to be a rather good meal....

Dropped by Ramen Kuroda at Ayala Malls Cloverleaf for a casual meal, and it definitely hit the spot. The place is simple and laid-back, perfect for a quick ramen fix. Service was fast and friendly, and we didn’t have to wait long for our food.

I ordered the Shio Ramen, and it was light, clean-tasting, and really comforting. Not too salty, which I appreciated, and the noodles were cooked just right. My husband went for the Kuro Ramen, and it had that rich, garlicky flavor Kuroda’s known for—definitely more intense but still super satisfying.

I also tried their Gyudon Ramen Set, which is a great deal. The gyudon was flavorful and went well with the lightness of the shio ramen. Their set meals are super affordable and really worth it if you’re hungry or want to try more than one thing.

Overall, great value for money, quick service, and tasty ramen. Would definitely come back when we’re...

2025 October Busy day trying to balance work and health. A whole afternoon was spent doing some medical tests and checkups. Been feeling sickly on-off lately and somehow just wanna cry. Had to repeat a test, because somehow the agency got my sample contaminated.. (like how? What did you do? 🤷🏻‍♀️); checkup for a recurring knee pain and did a scan (here's to hoping finally finding the cause of the months-long on-and-off pain🤞🏻). Then stopped by the mall to get a meal before heading home to rest:

Ramen Chicken Nanban Set 🍜 Kuro Ramen — Black Garlic Ramen w/ tamago and a slice of pork 🍗 Chicken Nanban w/ Rice — loved that creamy sauce on top! Tasted sort of like tartar sauce 😍 🍊🍉 Fruit Slices were served as part of the set!

🥟 Ordered extra gyozas just because it's a Japanese restau, and feeling the need to add some more protein hehe (Although, felt like a bit carb...
