Booking a reservation is a must!
We ate here on the 29th of December.
Parking is very limited. The area can accommodate a maximum of 6 cars. I highly suggest to arrive at the restaurant 30min before your reservation.
The place itself is quite small and intimate, probably 20 or so seats. The interior is quite simplistic yet has a modern feel to it. The displays of the chili-garlic kinda ruins the aesthetic.
We ordered the following;
Crabonara with home made squid ink spaghetti - P380
The pasta in itself was perfectly al dente and exquisitely well-made. Its squid ink flavor was subtle but still complimentary to the entire dish. A beautifully poached egg sits atop the noodles and shred of real crab meat are strewn around the plate. The yolk from the egg did make the sauce a bit runny but it was alright since the dish itself tasted absolutely fantastic. A good balance of creaminess and the umami from the crab.
Prosciutto Truffle Ragout Carbonara - P380
The noodles were consistently al dente. Generous slices of prosciutto provided a sweet and salty flavor profile to the already delicious authentic truffle carbonara sauce. The addition of the poached egg made the dish even creamier.
24hr Roast Beef in Mushroom Gravy (with 2 sides) - P395
The sides we got were two different salads. Both were not exceptional. But the beef was absolutely sublime. Thin slices of beef (with just the right amount of fat) were so soft and tender that you can slice them with just a touch of your fork. The mushroom gravy coated the beef and lifted its flavor profile to a whole new level. One can tell that the gravy was made in-house because it didn't overwhelm the natural savory-ness and taste of the beef. My only other feedback for this dish is that the sides could have been put in more attractive porcelain or bowls.
Tortelloni filled with spinach, cheese, basil, and topped off with freshly grated gruyere (tomato sauce) - P390
You can only order this dish on certain days due to its limited availability. And there's a perfect reason why. It's by far the single most delicious restaurant pasta dish that I have ever tasted. Each tortelloni was made by hand. The filling to pasta ration was perfectly balanced, so one would still experience that great chew from the pasta as waves of flavor from the filling engulf your mouth. The tomato sauce was simple as to not overshadow the tortelloni itself - which was good.
You could feel a sense of pride from the staff as they describe the dishes when asked about them or when they recommended which sauce goes best with the tortelloni. They were really knowledgeable of the menu and respectful of your space.
It was wonderful overall dining experience. This is an Italian restaurant that I would be happy to support for...

Finally chanced upon the lace several months after its renovation and re-opening.
We had lunch on a rainy Saturday and had no problem getting a seat. Street parking is limited but possible if you follow the proper parking side.
Most of what we ordered were great!! Just rolled mainly with gut feeling on what to order, with the waiter giving his suggestion when we asked regarding the Roast Beef with Mushroom Gravy. "Oh thats really good beef" is all you can utter once you taste the warm "24-hr" dish swimming in equally rich sarsa; pairs well with plain rice and mashed potatoes.
The champion(s) were the homemade pasta - the tortellini. Initially went on with the tomato variant, but since it was great we added another order for the truffle variant. The tomato starts with subtle oiliness which eventually evolves into a sharp and citrus-like dish. The basil seems to have added additional savoriness akin to placing anchovies. Then came in our additional order. Both pastas were good to the bite, and didnt crumble and wasnt tough. The truffle tortellini was creamy and earth goodness with its white and brown color theme. The cheese and herb filling were amazing.
The chocolate cake was a great treat too! I was expecting a tiramisu looking dessert, but we got served a cake with only 1 (out of 4) layer tiramisu. The rest were a rich chocolate top, and two layers of cake that makes the entire plate delectable - not to sweet, and not 'nakauumay'.
Iced Spanish coffee was spot on, appropriate small serving and great bitterness. The iced tea was concentrated, so I had to dilute with iced water.
Service is fast. Toilet is clean and fragrant. Atmosphere is just right, can be noisy when there's a noisy table. Price is fair, but maybe my 2010 self wants the dishes to be 50-100 pesos cheaper.
Will...

💬 Integrated with a great window placement and smart color choices, the place really gives off a good Sunday morning vibe. Cozy, quaint, and charming place with a good selection of Italian dishes.
The 𝐂𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐦𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐳𝐞𝐝 𝐖𝐚𝐥𝐧𝐮𝐭 𝐒𝐚𝐥𝐚𝐝 was a great source of greens for us. It featured candied walnuts which gave the dish a bit of sweetness and a good taste contrast with the balsamic vinaigrette. On top of that, adding prosciutto [+95php] elevated the dish further.
For the 𝐓𝐨𝐫𝐭𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐧𝐢, we opted for the tomato variant. The filling of the pasta was already creamy and tangy, which made the tomato sauce stand out. We enjoyed the texture of the hand-made Tortelleni which was perfectly al-dente.
The 𝟐𝟒-𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐫 𝐑𝐨𝐚𝐬𝐭 𝐁𝐞𝐞𝐟 𝐢𝐧 𝐌𝐮𝐬𝐡𝐫𝐨𝐨𝐦 𝐆𝐫𝐚𝐯𝐲 was for us, a bougier and more supreme version of Jollibee’s Burger Steak. For the 2 side dishes, we had the Tuscan Slaw and Mashed Potato. The Tuscan Slaw and the Mashed Potato side tasted pretty standard, nothing too special.
For the beverages, we got the 𝐋𝐢𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐨 𝐒𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐳 and their House Iced Tea. The 𝐋𝐢𝐦𝐨𝐧𝐜𝐞𝐥𝐥𝐨 𝐒𝐩𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐳 was STROOOOONG. At first, we gaslighted ourselves that the Tonic made the drink seemed alcoholic. Further research after the meal confirms that there was indeed alcohol in the drink. 😆 Whoops! Nonetheless, the drink was amazing and can be called a good “tita” drink. Furthermore, their 𝐇𝐨𝐮𝐬𝐞 𝐈𝐜𝐞𝐝 𝐓𝐞𝐚 was the best one we’ve had in months. The peach flavor and its overall sweetness gave a good conclusion...
