Read moreMy wife's family has been going to this restaurant since the eighties. My wife introduced this to place to me when we were still boyfriend-girlfriend. This place is special to us - we go here for anniversaries and get-togethers.
Ambiance is nice. Very homey and there is a decent space. There are plants everywhere and the furniture is made of wood. There is a garden at the center of the restaurant and there are ponds located at the sides. Please do not that there is no aircon and it is open so if it is hot, especially during the summer, some may find it uncomfortable. However, there are several electric fans located around the place so make sure you choose a table near a fan.
The food is great. Simple, no-nonsense and tasty. I guess the saying is, if it ain't broke, don't fix it. As per my wife, there is little change in the taste of the food. Sisig, one of our favorites, has stayed the same over the years. Pansit molo is another classic. Would also recommend the inasinang hipon and lechon kawali. Top it of with fresh buko juice, then you have a great meal!
I also think that the owners take care of their people since we have been seeing the same waiters during our visits. Also, they are now open on Sundays. They have been closed on Sundays for the longest time. I guess they need to do it since there are now a lot of choices to eat out nearby.

Read moreI just googled "Best Sisig in QC" and this restaurant always pops as a recommendation. Hence, we took our chances to try their famous sisig.
It is just easy to go to the restaurant, coming from San Juan or Manila. However, it was quite difficult to look for a parking space. Luckily, the guard on dity is eager to assist in this regard.
Food: 5 ⭐️ We ordered their specialty sizzling sisig, and the tokwa't baboy. We were surprised how tasty their sisig was (mind you, it has no Mayoinnaise!), the taste of it is just right, a great blend of sour and savory meat. Their tokwa't baboy is also remarkable, the tofu is really crunchy yet moist in the inside.
Service: 5 ⭐️ The staff are really prompt and accomodating. Our requests are being respondes on time. There is also option to pay in credit card!
Amosphere: 4⭐️ Giving this a 4, since the place is quite dark with few lighting. Though maybe this is the intended ambiance, but if you prefer a bit lighter dining area, they have a seperate section inside. Overall, the place is clean and well maintained.
Will definitely go back here, as there are other dishes that we would love go try further, might update this...
