Shakey's Pizza Parlor — Restaurant in Quezon City

I've been a loyal patron of Shakey's for quite some time now, drawn in by their delicious food and wide variety of pizzas. However, my experiences at this particular branch have been inconsistent, to say the least.

While the food itself is consistently good, the service leaves much to be desired. Despite the courteous staff and friendly "kuya guard," the process of ordering and receiving food is often frustrating. Long wait times from ordering to food arrival, coupled with dishes sometimes arriving lukewarm, detract from the overall dining experience.

One notable issue is the staggered arrival of food items when dining with a group. It's disheartening to see one person's meal served while others wait, leading to a disjointed dining experience.

It's worth mentioning that this decline in service is specific to this branch, as other Shakey's locations, such as the one at the mall, maintain efficient and speedy service.

Mar 2023: Decided to order thru Foodpanda. Delivery was fast and first time to order hand tossed pizza. It was delicious, better than S&R pizza.

Apr 2023: I ordered thru the Shakey's app. The delivery was very fast. But when I ate the pizza, it was lacking the usual pizza flavor I am accustomed to when I eat Shakey's. It was underwhelming...it was just cheesy but there was no herbs and spices in the sauce. It was like eating a pizza from an unknown street vendor. I'm so disappointed! We didn't even finish even one flavor. That's how bland it was. It was just salty, nothing else. 😔

There were no parking slots left when we got there due to the take out parking installed, the service crew took us a long time to be approached, there were only 1 manager, 2 servers, 2 delivery riders and not sure on the staff at the kitchen, but the girl with the down syndrome at the front was attentive to us. But the food tasted great and hot, but the time we waited was long, almost an hour and what we just ordered was only for the 3pcs chicken and 1 party pizza and 1 pitcher of coke.
