Food was okay, bulalo was generous and we actually enjoyed the sisig. There were free soup refills too which was nice and the rice was a big portion naman. The mango con yelo had hard slices of tasteless banana, so we won't order that again assuming we ever return.
The clincher is the very very poor service. Ate on the floor look borderline angry whenever you asked her for anything and would reply with a slightly disdainful tone even if you are extremely polite. We had to follow up everything multiple times and the the con yelo were served first before the mango sago which arrived after multiple follow ups and it turns out to be premade lang pala and stored in the ref but nobody really ever bothered to check the orders or that we were kept waiting. My hubby ordered softdrinks (single item only) from the counter and asked if he could take it from the fridge and was told that it would be brought to the table. It was already 5mins or more but nobody brought it to the table so he went back to get it himself with permission.
I don't normally leave poor reviews but Ate really shouldn't be in the service industry if she hates people and treats customers with discourtesy. Stay at the back end where you don't have to even try to be polite to your customers kasi we can feel that you don't like dealing with us.
They were also loudly playing a radio drama that didn't really add to the ambiance. And we left with our clothes smelling like oil. Possibly because it was A/C'd and their frying station did not have a divider with ventilation.
But yes, ate is still the winner. Hoping you are in a good mood next time you go to work. We are in the food industry too and we understand how hard the work can be sometimes but please don't bring it out on...
Read moreOne of my fave Eating Place around somewhere around / near cubao. They have varieties of food and Silog Meals. My bad! I wasn't able to take a photo of the menu. I was so hungry that time that I only took one photo before we dig in to the Food. 😁 This was the second time I've been to Tapsi ni Vivia.
THE BEST SILOG MEAL for me, is of course, the TAPSILOG! 😊 SILOG Price Varies from P155 to P200+.
If you are not a Big Eater, One Serving is Good for 2 Persons.
LIFE HACK: Order 1 Silog Meal. Add 1 Extra Rice, Viola! Good for 2!! 😁😁😁 Thank me Later! 😊
They have parking space for Cars or Motorcycle. The place was nice and clean. It's just that, they don't operate air-condition in the morning. But I think, they operate that starting afternoon.
That's it for now. Will add more info once we get back to Dig in again at TAPSI NI VIVIAN....
