This is one of my go-to place for Filipino cuisine in the eastern part of Metro Manila. They have a wide choice of food items ranging from adobong pusit to lumpiang sariwa placed on a glass display. I just love their tapa that is more on the sweet side, cut bigger than those regular ones that we know. I read somewhere that the owner of this resto coined the term "Tapsilog" so they must be the original one. Their location is not heavy on foot traffic, meaning you really have to go there intentionally. Ambiance is canteen-like but the price of food is doubled since theirs is much better.

I went here at around 5:30pm for early dinner. Ordered Dinakdakan and Inihaw na Liempo. The Inihaw na Liempo is great, it was heated properly. The Rice is freshly cooked. The Dinakdakan though was cold, like Buko Salad cold. The free soup was lukewarm. I like the food to be hot especially the soup since it was raining at that time. The taste of all the food was great though. Will I come back next time? Maybe.

Sarap ng Tapa.. and surprisingly, the liempo also.. They have other ulam options aside from the "silog" offerings. Serving of the ala carte ulam are good for sharing. Since they are open 24 hrs -- you can visit them anytime even for late night cravings.. Cons: Just taken a bath -- but after dining-in, OMG...... take a bath again 😅 kapit ang amoy ulam..

Easily one of my favorite Tapsilog spots in QC 👌 We ordered their famous Tapsilog, Chiksilog, and Dinuguan. All are delicious and have huge servings! I think it's pretty crowded especially during lunch and dinner times, but they have a lot of parking spaces available in front of the restaurant. We'll definitely come back here for more tapa! 💯
