still one of the bests around the area. well, definitely the best karaage in these parts with different spice levels. food is tasty as usual.
•kani fries •karaage + birthday noodles — with a spicy noodle kick. got the sansho spice level for the chicken for a citrusy and juicy bite. •ginger scallion chicken noodles — YUM! •torched salmon bowl — sister always loves to get this •horchata, mocha, dirty horchata
so glad they’re re-opening brought the ginger scallion chicken noodles in katipunan for good!! their fried chicken is still perfectly cooked and spiced. they also now serve el union’s horchata, and can still order my favorite dirty horchata!!!
an upgrade in terms of size versus their past location behind regis. this is a much bigger space that could sit multiple group sizes. they also have a dedicated dj booth for the vibes. kinda miss the skateboards and the darker vibe, but the brighter change up...

It was empty when I dined there at 5 pm. As someone who usually dines alone, the setup felt perfect for me. Watching them cook + the OPM playing the background + no people around added to my dining experience :) There are about 2-3 tables at the back that can accommodate a small group. The layout of the restaurant is an open kitchen bar along with some tables. You get to see how they prepare the food, and you also get to feel the stress happening in the kitchen.
I'm not sure about their customer service. It seems they don't have it at all, but that's fine with me.
Your order will take a very, very long time. They even got my order wrong, but I took it anyway because I can't afford to wait that long again.
I might come back again, but maybe to the Makati branch instead, to try other dishes, but not here. I was so relieved as I finished and went out. It's not a feel-good...
