OYO 809 Crowne One Condo — Hotel in Quezon City

Room pictures online are accurate except the lighting is a bit misleading. Good location near food establishments, Ateneo, and UP Diliman. But there's a lot of room for improvement.

We booked the 6-person room via the Oyo app but when we got here, only 3 were allowed inside and the additional person/s have an additional fee of 700pesos. Keep in mind that in the app, even if you input 1 guest only, the price of the room wouldn't significantly change. And the app have a maximum of 3pax setting even if you book a bigger capacity room. It doesn't make sense that we paid much more than the lower capacity rooms yet we got the same capacity as those rooms. Felt like a scam.

On top of that, there were 2 pregnant-looking cockroaches in the 6-person room which we had to take the lives of. Water pressure - low. Cleanliness - doubtful. And the cherry on top was we were 4 people but they only provided 2 towels and blankets then had the nerve to say we just had to share. No ma'am. No ref, heater, coffee maker. These are mostly managerial problems and can be fixed if they cared for customers but I don't...

If you wish to stay at this hotel / B&B, make sure you bring your own toiletries, extension cords, and other personal stuff.

One of the entrances to the building is quite small and narrow, and the other has a timed schedule.

The elevator is pailfully slow. Hoping that there won't be any emergencies during your stay.

The reception area is fine, and spaceous. But the ventilation is quite poor, pretty hot in the lobby area. We stayed at the 8th floor.

The receptionist seems nice. But is a bit all over the place when accomodating us.

Rooms: we were tranfered to a different room as the one we booked had a broken AC unit.

Ants, and roaches, if you're iffy with these creatures, not the place for you.

Water pressure is quite weak.

Overall, not a place for a luxury stay which is expected with the price. It was at the center of the area of where we need to go to, so...

I was OK with the size of the room and available fridge and microwave, although I did not use it so I don’t know if it is working.

PARKING IS 200 overnight!

I was DISAPPOINTED because the bathroom was not clean there are hairs everywhere and dirt in the sink. In the kitchen there was a cockroach. THE LINEN does not smell good so I don’t know if they wash it. Only God know’s

But it is good hotel if you are in a tight budget.

If u add additional 500 u can get Airbnb better accommodation and facilities.
