TGI Friday's — Restaurant in Quezon City

I go to this branch regularly and for the most part my experiences were not bad until Oct 2. I went for during lunch time around 12 pm. It was not busy. Server/hostess that day was a little off from the start. She greeted us and after telling her the number of people dining in, she walked away to do something else rather than showing to our table. She later come back to assist us..

After being seated, we had to call another server since the waitress who accompanied us was too busy roaming around rather than taking our orders. Let me repeat this again, there were only a few customers and most of them were already eating. We ordered and waited. We got our lemonade and waited longer for our order. We waited for more than 30 minutes until I realized what was taking so long so I followed up with my orders. The waitress asked the chef if our orders were being prepared and I saw the chef shaking his head saying he did not received any. So the waitress went direct to the register without informing us what happened. I went up to her to ask and she said it was not processed... so I asked her to cancel our order rather than waiting much longer. FYI, I was with my toddler who was getting out of control because he was hungry. Anyways, the waitress did not say anything afterwards. She did not apologized at all.

Overall, staffs needs better customer service. Servers did not care at all what happened. The manager offered to give our drinks for free but my wasted time is worth more than this. Please hire someone who is more attentive and cares...

TGIF Eastwood is always a home away for home for me and my family. My wife and my kids also love this Eastwood branch TGIF because aside for the superb and so much awesome service, so.personalized and such friendly staff...specially Choi. My goodness, Choi has been so hardworking, he is like a headless chicken. He works so hard and if I count the number of tables he has served , it's going to be nearly in hundreds within 2 hours. Hence, Choi's last name is "hardwork". Rosalie and Jen are the best too. They are efficient and so accommodating.

With regard to food, I ordered whisky glazed salmon with mashed potatoes. The salmon was perfectly cooked, tender in the inside, fairly firm on the outside. Although the serving of the mashed potatoes decreased after the pandemic but maybe because everyone needs to really adjust with their servings specially in the resto business. The mash potatoe was cooked with much taste and softness and the side veggies are half cooked. Just the way I want. 😍 My wife and I had mojito classic and it was not too sweet nor too hard, but you can request if you want more alcohol with it. Perfect with the truffle bacon pizza. This pair is the pair to beat. Perfect combination. The pizza was not overwhelming specially with the truffle oil and cheese combined. The taste just glides seamlessly into your palate with much gusto. My family and I love it the food of TGIF so much. We can't get enough of it. All of it are heavenly...

We entered this place because we wanted a quick bite and it was nearby. We saw the promo for ₱385 for a meal so we figured it would be small, given TGIF’s usual rates.

The cheerful staff quickly seated us- the place was filled with Americans, like TGIFs across the world. The AC was pretty bad here…. It needs urgent attention. Jisu Life to the rescue.

We ordered our combos - we each ordered one appetizer, one entree, and ice tea(no alternative). We both ordered Caesar salad, I got the fish and chips and she got the six spice chicken.

So the Caesar salad comes in and I can’t remember the last time I ate it without chicken - the menu did not make it clear and I was surprised to see it was just lettuce, croutons, and cheese, and dressing of course. Technically though, they did not promise us chicken.

While I sat there regretting my choice to come here, the waitress brought the entrees. I was instantly pleased, because it looked great. And it was yummy. Highly recommend the fish and chips - the chips were freshly fried and the fish was delicious with the tartar sauce.

The six spice chicken also came with a yummy gravy. Sorry, no pics!

This has got to be the lowest bill I’ve ever paid at TGIF’s, but probably the best value I’ve received....
