The Aristocrat Restaurant is a true culinary institution, with a legacy spanning nearly a century and multiple branches across the Philippines. Known for its consistency and heritage, it remains a go-to destination for both locals and visitors seeking authentic Filipino comfort food. One of the undeniable highlights is their famous barbecue chicken. Perfectly grilled, the meat is tender and juicy, while the restaurant’s signature barbecue sauce elevates the flavor to another level—sweet, savory, and slightly smoky, it’s the kind of sauce that keeps you coming back for more. Another crowd favorite is the sisig, served sizzling hot and bursting with bold, savory notes that make it one of the best versions around. Dessert is where Aristocrat continues to surprise. The classic leche flan is smooth, rich, and delightfully sweet—everything you want in this traditional Filipino treat. But the real hidden gem is their special Chessboard Cake. Though not listed on the menu, this soft and moist cake layers sweetness and nostalgia in every bite. It’s a perfect finale to the meal, balancing the hearty dishes with a touch of elegance. Unfortunately, during our visit, the overall dining experience was affected by ongoing air conditioning maintenance. Several service staff were working on the unit nearby while we had lunch, which disrupted the atmosphere and detracted from what could have been a more enjoyable and relaxed meal. Still, The Aristocrat’s legacy and food remain impressive. With a little more attention to timing and customer comfort, the restaurant can continue living up to its reputation as one of the most enduring names in Filipino dining.

Located at 238 Banawe Building. Loft type with a huge wooden staircase and a modern chandelier. Aristocrat since 1936 is a Filipino restaurant which serves the best seller classic chicken BBQ. The food was great. Enough serving for its price. The service was great. Staff are accommodating and fast. The atmosphere was good. The staircase and chandelier was great. Though the table and plastic chairs needs improvement. Must try: Sinigang na tyan ng bangus, Blanca white halo-halo, Pinakbet, Chicken BBQ Available: - Toilet - Free parking space The overall experience was great, full tummy, statified customers, and great location.

Contrary to some reviews, I think parking space is adequate. They built the place with great consideration to convenient parking. It just so happened that they now have 2 trending resto, specially since the addition of Jiangnan. During off peak hours there is always parking. However street parking along Banawe and side streets is relatively safe, someone looks out for the cars. Parking on the side streets are more troublesome since the roads are a bit narrow. I prefer parking along Banawe on either sides of the streets. There is a guy there who usually assists you and watch out for your car for a few pennyđŸ„°

Most restaurant there are good places to go to. King chef runs a promo discounted dimsum every 3-5pm (I dont know the morning schedule). Jiangnan on the other hand is open until 2am, and i think last order is at 1am(sorry if this is wrong info). Jiangnan is almost always packed but going there at around 9.30pm and onwards will get you seated...
