Hainanese chicken was tender and cooked well, but as someone who’s not a Tinola lover, the taste reminded me of disintegrated Tinola 🫣. The soy sauce, ginger, and chili combo made it more enjoyable, and the rice was flavorful and paired perfectly. 🍛 Just a heads-up—it’s traditionally served cold! Roasted chicken was my favorite—juicy, salty, and packed with flavor. 🔥 Squid tempura was okay, nothing special, but the sweet & sour sauce helped. Hot soup was a nice surprise, and their menu has some unique options. Would come back to try the chicken curry! 🍛✨

As for the food, the Hainanese chicken is delicious. Don’t be surprised if it’s served cold, as that’s how it’s traditionally prepared. We also ordered the roasted chicken, but I preferred the Hainanese chicken more. We tried the chicken feet skin as well, but I found it strange and couldn’t quite grasp the flavor. It tasted like ceviche with sweet and sour sauce. The iced tea is also overpriced.
Overall, I recommend the Hainanese chicken. It’s tasty and definitely...
Read moreFresh from Singapore, this restaurant chain specializes in Hainanese Boneless chicken so it makes sense that I order just that. I also ordered Vegetable Fritters as appetizer. While waiting, they served hot soup and the three sauces. Service was fast and efficient. The chicken was very tender and juicy. I love that I don't have to debone it anymore. The crispy Vegetable Fritters was a nice contrast to the soft texture of the chicken meat. However as I kept on eating the fritters I noticed some parts were not that crispy. Compared to Uptown this branch is bigger and cleaner. Kudos to the owner...
