Café Siena — Restaurant in Rizal

Last monday dec 17, my wife and i ate at this place for lunch.... ordered beef surf and turf with potato salad for me ... fresh ubod lumpia for my wife... added nachos for appitizer... My beef came in almost charred to black and my rice was so stiff that it can really crush my teeth... nachos came in with no chrunchiness... fresh lumpia tasted like something else.. Very dis appointed... they just explained the cook is different from the catering service... How can a restaurant with catering and events place be serving like this in their own restaurant...??? This is really a turn off experience... This is a wake up call review for the management to shape up... I wish they take this...

The ambiance and scenery at this establishment are delightful, complemented by attentive service and a diverse menu of dishes. I particularly enjoyed their gambas and Enzo's Truffle pasta, both of which were highlights. However, the 5 cheese pizza fell short for me due to the nacho cheese sauce; I believe it would benefit from a switch to marinara or a thicker mozzarella. Nevertheless, the crust was impeccable. I also recommend trying their refreshing salted caramel drink, which was a pleasant addition...

We had our lunch here today. We used to dine hear frequently before pandemic. Now that they have upgraded into Hotel Siena, the resto is bigger and has nicer ambiance. Unfortunately, the food and service has been downgraded. The food became a little unreasonable for the price. Ang konti na ng serving.

We ordered, Beef Salpicao - small serving for ₱500, not the usual beef salpicao the we normally ordered. Kare kare Bagnet - Sauce is super thick with a very few veggie. Very unpleasant, parang di ka gaganahan kumain. 5 Cheese pizza - too salty. Looks like a combination of eden cheese and cheese whiz na may konting mozzarella and Parmesan. DRY!

Service was very dissapointing. Antagal iserve ng pizza. Tapos na kaming kumain nung dumating. Kada serve ng food walang serving spoon. Need pang tumayo para manghingi. Wala din silang water, need to buy bottled water. Lahat irerequest even the tissue which dapat meron na sa table.

We had our left over food packed for take out. For hotel quality po ba na ibalot lahat sa plastic labo? Even the dips for the breaded cheese sticks and chicken wings. Nashock ako. Wala man lang ba kayo disposable cups? Even the left over pizza para lang po namen binili sa gilid ng kalsada yung pagkakabalot. Nadouble po yung price ng food nyo compared dati pero very dissapointed kami sa quantity and service. Sorry...

Ang mahal pa ng service charge wala naman effort mag serve...
