Cafe Katerina 5-star review. Create a 5 star review for cafe Katerina I'd be happy to help you write a 5-star review for Cafe Katerina! Cafe Katerina is an absolute gem! From the moment you walk in, you are greeted with warm smiles and friendly service that sets the tone for an amazing dining experience. The atmosphere is cozy and inviting, with comfortable seating and charming decor that makes you feel right at home. But the real star of the show is the food. Every dish is expertly crafted and bursting with flavor, showcasing the freshest ingredients and the chef's incredible talent. I highly recommend trying the Greek omelette - it's an absolute standout dish that will leave you wanting more. And be sure to save room for dessert, because the homemade baklava is to die for! But what truly sets Cafe Katerina apart is the attention to detail and personalized service. The staff go above and beyond to make sure every guest feels welcome and taken care of, and their passion for hospitality shines through in every interaction. Overall, Cafe Katerina is an exceptional cafe that deserves all the accolades it receives. Whether you're stopping by for a quick bite or settling in for a leisurely meal, you won't be disappointed. Five stars all around!

Cafe Katerina is conveniently located in Marilaque, making it easy to find for both locals and travelers. The restaurant is spacious, capable of accommodating a large number of guests, which is perfect for group gatherings. However, the parking area is a bit small, which might be inconvenient during peak hours. The cafe boasts a stunning view of the Sierra Madre mountains, adding a serene and picturesque backdrop to your dining experience. The cool, windy air eliminates the need for air conditioning, contributing to a pleasant and natural ambiance. While the restaurant excels in atmosphere, the food leaves room for improvement. The nachos, though generously served, had a surprisingly sweet taste that might not appeal to everyone. Similarly, the dressing on the sausage sandwich was overly sweet, though the dish did come with a side of fries. The halo-halo, a popular Filipino dessert, could be significantly improved with more banana and milk to make it creamier. The mais con hielo was acceptable but did not particularly stand out. The service at Cafe Katerina is generally friendly and efficient. The staff are accommodating and ensure that guests are comfortable, enhancing the overall dining experience. During busy times, there might be a slight delay, but the staff's pleasant demeanor makes up for it. The prices at Cafe Katerina are reasonable considering the generous portions and the stunning views. However, given the mixed reviews on the food quality, there is potential for better value if the dishes were refined. Cafe Katerina is a delightful spot for those looking to enjoy a meal with a breathtaking view of the Sierra Madre mountains. While the ambiance and service are commendable, the food could use some fine-tuning, especially regarding the sweetness of certain dishes. Despite these drawbacks, the cafe's location and atmosphere make it worth a visit, especially for those who appreciate a scenic and relaxing dining experience.

This place has a stunning view and a wide selection of food and drinks. A family ran business, it gives you a quick pit stop before heading to the other Rizal provinces and Quezon. Love the coffee and cake selection. The coffee shop staff are friendly. Lots of power outlets to give your gadgets a quick energy boost. The perfect experience gave us a reason to comeback the next day. This time around we went to try the pizza and pasta combo. The combo platter is reasonably priced. To our surprise and liking, the food was served quite quickly. We first tried their hawaiian pizza which was perfect. Next was the pasta Alfredo which is ok but needs some more salt and pepper. Finally, the famous chicken wing with soy garlic sauce… the first bite was good, until we got to the bones. The chicken was still bloody! No worries, off to the next wing… same thing! At this time we went back to the counter and showed them the raw chicken. Not complaining but politely requesting for the rest to be cooked thoroughly. The staff were apologetic and took the chicken back to the kitchen. A few minutes later, the staff came back with the toasted version of our chicken wings. Verdict: aside from the raw chicken issue, the resto is worth coming back to especially for coffee and cakes.

We went here since I read a nice review from a blogger. Booyy it was such a disappointment. 😞 We got there around 12nn, the place was almost empty. Nice breeze, and view, parking was sufficient. The place was a bit rundown but it's okay. The disappointment started when they served our food. Literally the moment the waiter delivered our order, HUGE FLIES swarmed our table. It was difficult to eat as we had to shoo the flies away, no way to eat comfortably. I decided to get extra plates to cover our food-- it lessened the flies but still very difficult to eat. The waiter seemed unconcerned when we told him about it, not even a reaction from him. We asked for a candle but since it was windy, it was useless. The food was okay in total. The fish was good, kare kare had plenty of meat, sinigang was so-so, and the chicken was really tough-- like it was old, fried, then re-fried. Before we headed out, my friend said when he went to look for a CR, he accidentally went at the back and found the source of flies-- pile of garbage. Will not recommend this place to anyone. I hope they improve their cleanliness.

An easy get away location with no traffic from either direction. Just be careful as we have encountered a few careless motorcycle riders here and there during our trip. I would say most of the menu served is at par. Though the fraps makes you think that they have served you an uncut chunk of ice. cold drinks does not cost you that much but as what I've said you get what you pay for. nothing great so just stick to your regular menu or avoid their fraps. The location's ambiance is now well developed as compared to the experience I had few years back. If you will be visiting on four wheels, the locations parking might be something to think about since it more or less can only handle around 20 to 25 cars as far as I noticed on my visit. The open air ambience gives you a first encounter with nature especially if you visit them early in the morning. Good for family and friends who just want to stretch and take your time with a good view and great location to connect.

I stopped here Friday Feb. 19, 2021 due to the amazing scenic viewpoint it occupies along the highway - you can see Laguna on the right aside from a view of the Sierra Madre range on your left. The pandemic lunch crowd is actually quite busy nowadays. They have a very interesting system here where you order the food from a signboard (which had a lot of mark-outs), pay in cash to the cashier, and then sit down wherever you want, while you wait for your name to be called. You also get unlimited servings of bulalo broth, and pick up your cutlery, water, plates at the same area where you will claim your food. The food itself is not the best in the food scene, with the bestseller bulalo having chunks of not-so-tender beef. But it's all value for money comfort food (their large-sized bulalo is P500)...and we came for the view). Well... Here's hoping they improve their food quality after the pandemic. As the views here are panoramic.
