I was at KFC Antipolo to buy us dinner last Jan 14 but the cashier Jha-Jha was not in the mood to entertain anyone nicely and unfortunately, I was one of those people.
I don't do reviews or comments because I think it's pretty useless and no one will actually read it. But this lady Jha-Jha got into my nerve really good when all I wanted was have my order take-out. She took all my patience away when she made angry faces and talked back when I corrected her that my order was supposed to be "to go" the time I noticed she was putting it on a plate. And I'm telling you.. I am very very very very very very patient. She said: "Sabi niyo po kanina di ba take-out?!" with an unacceptable attitude and irritating tone of voice and all that.
I remembered telling her na take-out lahat ng inorder ko and I don't know why hindi niya narinig. And if it's fault, what's wrong with asking her to change it to take-out? I just don't get it and I don't think I deserved the way she talked to me like I was stupid and didn't know how to order to a fast food. I didn't appreciate the way she ruined my day. Because of that, I raised my voice and told her: "Sinabi ko kanina diba?! Di ka nakikinig!" My emotion defeated me because she made me felt foolish.
I'm always nice to people lalo na if you do customer service because I know how to deal with unreasonable customers. And I'm not those types of customers.
I talked to one of the managers on duty and I was told na "pagsasabihan ko na lang po" which was great.
The good thing though was she apologized before I went out the store but my mood was not there anymore. I just hope she will have more patience and understanding because not everyone can tolerate such demeanor. She's young and I'm sure she can improve more. I placed an order for an Ala King rice bowl and was told there would be a 10-minute delay, which was fine since the mass hadn't started yet. However, after the 10 minutes had passed, my father and I were getting hungry, and the mass was about to begin. The cashier then informed us we would need to wait an additional 5 minutes. I voiced my concerns, as I had been told earlier that the wait would only be 10 minutes. The cashier then mentioned it could take 10 to 15 minutes, but this was never communicated to me when I placed the order. After speaking with the store manager, he offered us the option to either grab takeout or cancel the order. Since it was already too late and we were hungry, we chose to wait, but it ended up taking over 22 minutes.
While I understand delays can happen, the lack of transparency and the miscommunication were frustrating. I hope the store improves its communication with customers to prevent situations like this...
