Our group ate past 7pm coming from Tarlac as this was highly recommended by one within the group. The food was great, in my opinion. Fast service. I ordered Lugaw with egg plus 2 more eggs and Shanghai with rice. The rice, however, i didn't like. It's too saturated with butter, sa tagalog nkakaumay. There's an ingredient missing to make it palatable. As a former general manager also in a restaurant, we also served buttered rice, but its nowhere like this. Also, while eating my lugaw, halfway an insect flew down on my lugaw. I noticed it wriggling as i was about to scoop from it. I called a staff and told him an insect flew down my lugaw. I noticed they don't have flying insect catchers on their walls, nor an air curtain on their entrance door to prevent insects from coming in. The staff said i had already consumed half of the product or nagalaw ko na as I was giving the staff the questionable look without verbally suggesting to replace the item since as I looked around, there are indeed some flying insects in the restaurant and in a way, that would be their shortcoming. As he did not offer to replace the meal as i hope he would, i just said its okay i'll just scoop out the still-alive insect from my lugaw. I no longer ate the remaining lugaw even though i removed the insect . As we continued eating, the staff approached me and said he would just replace it, and i said okay. Apparently, he told his superior what happened and his superior ordered to replace it. Good mgt decision making. If I were in the restaurant's shoes, having been in the same food industry for 25 years, taking into consideration the lack of tools to prevent such incident, there is no question i would immediately apologize for the inconvenience and replace the item immediately. And word of advise, if you're replacing a complained food item/s for foreign objects like hair, insect, etc, replace it first with a new one, then upon serving the new one, you can then remove the item with the problem. Customers are inclined to overthink that the same item will be served back to them after the problem in it is removed. I hope this restaurant will take this constructively and learn from it to make their services better for customers. Oh, and I love their tables and seats....

The staff were very friendly and accommodating. Even though it was a busy Friday night with heavy traffic outside, the guard and staff were quick to assist usâespecially since not everyone on the road wanted to give way. That small detail really made the experience even better.
Now for the food: everything was flavorful and satisfying! The sisig was a definite standoutâperfect balance of crunch, savoriness, and just the right kick. The other dishes we tried were just as good, freshly made, and served in generous portions.
