La Brent Tea and Cafe — Restaurant in San Fernando

ive been to la brent many times before but this is the first time that i had a bad experience to the point that i want to write a review about it. this happened today, August 29 2025 around 2pm.

FIRST, THE STAFF WERE SO RUDE. it tested our patience. they were NOT ACCOMMODATING AT ALL! we were waiting for our table to get cleaned, we already approached the staff because our table still has dishes from the previous customers. IT TOOK A SOLID 20-30 MINUTES before it got cleaned. we were sitting there, they see us, they didnt do anything about it. she cleaned the other tables WITHOUT CUSTOMERS sitting on it then went back to the counter COMPLETELY IGNORING US. plus there were not a lot of people that time. when our table got cleaned, finally, we said "thank you po" but she just walked out like she didnt hear us, she didnt even look back lol. the staff at the cashier, not smiling at all, she looked like she just wanted to go home.

SECOND, THE FOOD WAS DISAPPOINTING. thick and chunky gravy that looked like they just took it out of the refrigerator and put it there. the pork chop felt like biting into a rubber band. the grilled liempo was small and literally BURNT, CHARRED. the drinks were the only good thing about our orders, it saved...

We just got home from La Brent, SFC, La Union branch, and we got home very disappointed.

We got there at 8:00 PM after mass to fill our tummies. The line was not that long. Actually magulo pa yung line and walang menu available kasi yung mga price sa harap e nakatakip. So need mo ng menu na printed para malaman foods and their prices.

FIRST PROBLEM: WALANG MENU SA CASHIER. Kinuha ng mga nakaupo sa tables yung mga menu. So yung mga oorder na sa cashier mismo, walang magamit. Una palang, di na organized. Di man lang nila i-check kung may magagamit bang menu yung mga customers. Also to add, ang daming customers sa cashier na nagrereklamo at nagfafollow up ng orders nila kasi ang tagal.

Naka-order na kami at 8:11 PM, we went up stairs to dine in. Marami namang space so no problem sa upuan. While we’re sitted and waiting for our food to arrive, may isang table na nagrereklamo and asking for a manager. As in frustrated na sila for some reason. The vibes of the environment is so agitated. All were frustrated na. Dedma pako nung una kasi wala PA naman kaming naging problema. So phone phone muna, waiting pako patiently.

Come 40 mins into waiting, wala pa food namin so I calmly followed up sa baba. Then went upstairs to wait again. After 10 mins, someone came up para kunin receipt namin kasi WALA RAW SILANG ORDER CONFIRMATION SA BABA. SO HINDI PA PALA NAGAWA ORDERS NAMIN AFTER WAITING THAT LONG. JUSKO WE WERE SO FRUSTRATED NA THAT TIME. Gets na namin why people were complaining na.

9:20 na kami nakakain and all. WALA PANG UTENSILS SA TAAS. Need nanaman bumaba. And when we’re about to eat, SUPER NOT WORTH IT YUNG FOODS. Imagine, I paid ₱230 for their combo of pesto, VERY SALTY dory, basic fries, and basic pizza. Same with my sister’s order na sizzling dory. SUPER ALAT she had to buy another rice para lang umokay yung lasa. Even after the 2 rice, di na niya inubos yung dory sa sobrang alat. Yung chicken burger super basic at walang kalasa lasa yung chicken. FOOD QUALITY IS SO 👎🏻. Super disappointed. WE WAITED MORE THAN AN HOUR FOR THOSE VERY UNSATISFYING FOOD.

We gave the restaurant the benefit of the doubt because we heard bad reviews about it already. We were hopeful that we’d get a better experience from them. Just tonight, napatunayan namin na totoo pala sinasabi nila.

We really hope ma-improve yung quality of service niyo and the quality of foods para balik balikan kayo...

Love the interior decor of the place. Would have loved to dine in but I’m in a hurry to go home so I just dropped by to try their milk tea… They have winter melon but don’t have any lemons, since I only like the winter melon lemon flavor that I use to get, so I got the caramel macchiato instead. It’s okay but it’s too sweet for me and I only end up finishing half of the medium drink that I ordered. Still a great place to hang...
