I was looking forward to dining here, but the service was disappointing. While the food was decent, multiple issues made the experience frustrating. I understand it was a busy dinner service, but there were items we ordered that were completely forgotten. When we asked about it, the staff first claimed we didn’t order it—despite it being on the list. It was missing the grilled fish and bulalo soup that we ordered, so what came was just one meal + extra rice they probably thought we were going to share 1 tiny piece of chicken because my partner saw the staff looking at our table...laughing! which felt very unprofessional. We asked for a follow-up, I was told the fish wasn’t on the order docket, even though I had specifically asked about the fish of the day which is Yellowfin tuna. I waited a long time with no urgency or apology, and it was only at the payment counter—after I brought it up—that I finally got one. As a chef, I understand mistakes happen, especially during a busy service, but good customer service is about accountability. The contrast in how staff treated different guests was also noticeable. People come back not just for the food but for how they’re treated—I hope this can be improved.

For only Php155, you get to enjoy this Grilled Chicken Inasal w/ 1 cup of rice and atchara on the side! We enjoyed this with toyomansi. Chicken oil is refillable upon request. You can also ask for free soup. We tried each variant for the soup but we loved Halang-halang the most!! Serving time is just right. No waiting for tables. But it takes a bit of time before they notice you though when you have a request. You can also pay after you eat! This place is also accessible, well-ventilated, and has front parking. Overall, very good value for money! Affordable and food is delicious!!!

Another good spot for food near San Juan, Siquijor. Good portion sizes and the best frozen mango shake we had on the island! We passed this place regularly in the evenings and it was always packed which is a good start and the smells coming from their grills were too tempting to turn down. The bulalu was very good. Nicely cooked for it to fall apart and a good flavour to the sauce. The bbq chicken was also very tasty. Both were generous sized portions which was exactly what was needed afyer a full on day of Waterfall hopping and trekking! Ma Sarap!
