Bland food like really bland. Took them 47 minutes to serve our food however it was not what we were expecting at all. Asked the waitress to check it out or just bring me a salt but she brought it back to the kitchen to fix it but when she brought it back to our table it was still bland. She be like ,"the chef forgot to put a salt that's why it was bland and now it's good but she still serve it back to us tasteless ". You can't taste nor smell the curry also. chicken was hard also,it was obviously frozen and they just threw it the to pot. Service is bad. We need to waive our hand multiple times and took them too long to approach us even tho they ain't doing anything at all and just talking .ps. They saw us waiving but still ignoring us. One male staff even called them to assist us but took 5-8 minutes for them to approach us. Do wanna go back ? NO Is it worth it ? No. Is the place okay? Yes Is the service good? NO

I give this place a rating from 100/10. It is simply amazing and the best restaurant on Siquijor. No idea where they found the chef. Karla and her stuff are exceptional, going beyond to make your stay outstanding. They have wonderful French Press Coffee, ask for some ice to have a wonderful start in the day. The vegetable omelet is the best I had in my life! Period! Ask for Philippine garlic rice. Your day will start like a lion or lioness and you will have the biggest smile on the island. Night time -the vegetable curry is a dream. My friends had sushi and were crying because it was so good! The food is served together for your friends, a rare thing in Asia. Highly recommended. Thanks again Karla for having me and for the wonderful curry. I’m coming back 100%.

My favorite bar on the island is this one. There are cozy hammocks outside where you can enjoy the open area and the night sky. At their happy hour, beverages cost 99 pesos. Even though my preferred beverage was not offered, they still made me perfect amaretto sours. There are also board games and beer pong available. You won't be bored. The service is also quick compared to other establishments i have visited around the area. Friendly crew and very easy to approach. There are also bikinis and summer clothing options. They have a limited selection of food; I hope they expand it. I urge you to try their margarita, which costs 99 pesos during happy hour, and their flaming lambhourghini, which costs, I believe, 230 pesos.( the best one)

I been here and the place is nice and cozy, but everything else is below average. I ordered a pizza which came a little bit too slowly, but still ok, but I ordered a bier which was not cold. I asked the waiter to put it back in the freezer and I drank it after I finished pizza.; not funny at all!!😞The waiter proposed me to put ice in the bier; Filipino style but totally stupid for me. The worse was the music which was so loud that you cannot talk if you are accompanied by a friend; fortunately I was alone. You cannot ask them to lower the volume of the music because this is Filipino style, they will not understand and, anyway, they don’t care. The waiters are nice and polite and trying their best to please you, but I easily noted a total lack of training (artificial smile) and I suspect also underpaid. The management must take action and improve the things or the place will become another empty restaurant as many others here in San Juan. Maybe I will go back one day to see if something changed for good.

Because Google does not allow me to reply, I will edit my review and say here what I have to say: the management should improve in this place, the people should be better trained and your music MUST NOT break the ears of the clients. In any civilised country the music is in the background not the main reason of discomfort. All the bier was NOT cold, because the other clients complained about and returned their bier also. I am not writing this review to cliticise you but to make you improve because your place is nice and cosy and I will be unhappy to see your place empty of clients as I see everyday many other restaurants and bars in San Juan. Take it positively. So, I wish you all the best and I hope to see you in the future in the top most appreciated bars...

Tipsy Bar in Siquijor quickly became our absolute favorite restaurant on the island – a true gem that we would recommend to anyone visiting!

From the moment you arrive, the place feels warm, relaxed, and welcoming. The food is outstanding – freshly prepared, full of flavor, and beautifully presented. Every dish we tried was a delight, both to the eyes and the taste buds. You can tell the kitchen puts care and creativity into every plate.

The drinks are another highlight, especially the frozen mojito – easily the best we've ever had! Perfectly balanced, refreshing, and served ice-cold. The cocktail menu in general is impressive, with well-crafted options made from quality ingredients.

What made our experience even more special was the lovely staff. The waitresses were incredibly friendly, warm, and attentive – it felt like being among friends. Their kindness made the evening so enjoyable, especially for families.

Our 6-year-old son Benjamin absolutely loved it too. He was treated so sweetly, and the child-friendly options made dining easy and fun for him.

The combination of delicious food, stunning presentation, amazing drinks, a cozy vibe, and genuinely kind staff makes Tipsy Bar a must-visit. We came more than once and would do so again in a heartbeat. Without a doubt, our favorite spot...

My grandson and I stayed on this beautiful island for a week and had been following The Tipsy Bar on insta and Facebook so were excited to try it out. Turned out to be the best place in Siquijor and we dined there almost every day. The place has great decor and ambiance, we loved the different seating options and what a great idea to have board games to play, nobody seemed to be on their phones which was great to see. The staff were very attentive, a shout out to Kenny and Barbie and all the staff for making us feel so welcome. The food was out of this world, all freshly prepared and superbly presented. We got to try many dishes from their extensive menu and none of them disappointed us so that’s a 10 out of 10. The seafood dishes especially the milk fish were delicious and Connor especially loved the freshly made pizza, the sushi and the smoothie bowls. Have to mention they made the best cocktails and mock tails I have ever tasted. Thank you Karla, thank you Trav, you were the perfect hosts and good luck for the coming...
