We came here craving good French fries and decided to order a burger along with an extra serving of fries to satisfy our craving. Unfortunately, the fries were overly fried—so crunchy that they felt more like tortilla chips. I even warned my partner to be careful with them, as the last piece I ate gave me the impression they could break a tooth. Disappointed, I immediately asked for the bill so I could mention this to the staff. To my surprise, the staff member noticed the fries were barely touched on both plates and immediately asked if we didn’t want to pay for them. My partner accepted her offer. While I didn’t hear an apology, I appreciated the gesture and hope she relayed the feedback to the kitchen to prevent this from happening to other customers. As for the hamburger, it was a little oily but decent—good-sized patty with fresh veggies inside. Thank you to the staff. We may come back and try other food items.

Do not eat here. Their food is so bland that we had to ask for condiments. Their mango shake (150 PESOS) tasted so weird. It lacks mango, sweetness and the ice had an off taste. My friend and I ordered 2 mango shake and their appearance is not the same. I attached the photo below. Their Ohlala Burger (350 PESOS) Tweety Bird Burger (290 PESOS) & Chicken Delight Wrap (290 PESOS) is not worth it for its price. Also, there was only one waiter handling all of the customers — that’s around 10 tables. So service was very slow and she seems overworked. They should hire more workers. Save your money and just go try something else.

If you’re craving a legit, high-quality burger in the Philippines, Ohlala Burger in Siquijor is the place to go. Easily one of the best burgers I’ve had in the country! Now, I know that in the Philippines, medium patties are rare to find, so I won’t hold that against them. Even well-done, the burger was still juicy and delicious. If you’re on the island and in the mood for a proper burger, don’t miss this spot!
