We celebrated a birthday in the family at Bistro Ibarra. We had the weekend family buffet. The buffet is worth the price as there were so much food- appetizers, salad, filipino dishes, and some seafood, too. And lots of dessert (maiz con hielo, bilo-bilo, fruits, etc.). They even have coffee in the end.

The manager and staff were super attentive and they let us use the Azotea viewdeck area for the birthday cake and coffee making our miniparty for 20+ pax more private.

The view is amazing, the lake and the volcano are like painting. I have never seen Taal at such a direct vantage point. There was also a heartshaped photospot in the Azotea viewdeck that captures the Taal volcano perfectly.

They also let Sep birthday celebrants eat for free, and kids and seniors with discounts. There was no service charge, too so overall, we are happy with...

I recently indulged in the Sunday Breakfast Buffet at Bistro Ibarra in Tagaytay, and it was an absolute delight! The egg station, masterfully manned by their talented chef, was a highlight—each omelette and scrambled egg was perfectly cooked to my liking. The waffle and pancake station was a dream come true, with fluffy stacks accompanied by crispy, mouth-watering bacon that could convert any skeptic into a breakfast enthusiast. Their selection of breads and pastries was equally impressive, each bite a testament to their bakery's craftsmanship. The aroma of freshly baked goods and sizzling breakfast favorites filled the air, making every bite an irresistible temptation. If you're looking to start your Sunday with a feast that will leave you planning your next visit before you've even left, Bistro Ibarra is the...

I love the place, it’s kinda unique. Old restaurant/ hotel but well maintained. Staffs are welcoming. I love their food, the price is reasonable. My favorite is caldereta 100/10 bulalo is 10/10 with big bone marrow pa 😋compared to other restaurants in the area with overpriced bulalo (they all taste the same y’all 🥴) tinapa rice 10/10 kare kare fried rice 10/10 fried chicken 10/10 i love how tender it is.. chicken salpicao 10/10 ibarras parcel not sure if that’s how it’s called 7/10 because it’s just lumpiang gulay 🥹🤣 spent 2k for 5 person and marami pa for takeout servings per order: tinapa fried rice good for 5, caldereta & chicken salpicao good for 3, bulalo good for 4-5, fried...

For those seeking a perfect view of Taal Volcano Island, this spot delivers. The service was commendable; they were attentive to our requests, such as adjusting the sugar in our smoothie and reducing the saltiness of the bulalo. Speaking of which, the beef in their bulalo was exceptionally tender compared to others in the area. However, the soup can improve in its depth of flavor. Oh, and the apple-ampalaya smoothie is very interesting. Considering its competitive pricing (noticeably cheaper than others), this restaurant stands out as one of the best in Tagaytay.

Brought the family to Bistro Ibarra, we had the honeymoon suite and a family room. Both were clean and tidy with an amazing view of Taal volcano and lake. Breakfast was nice with the family and still with an amazing view. This looks to be a beautifully maintained Villa. The window in the honeymoon suite needs a scrape to clear the building up of the moss or algae, but this maybe difficult to do due to the location. It however is not a detractor. We were also lucky enough to see monkeys at about 6.20am which was a nice surprise.
