From 5 stars to Zero star. If we are able to rate zero. Last time we kept on coming back for their Arroz Caldo. It's a must try on their menu during their early days. It has generous amount of serving with chunky chicken breast parts. But on our last visit those breast part chunks were replaced by boney chicken bits with less meat so called "Balugbog". We wonder what happened, So we kindly asked their staff should their previous cook resigned? May be they can change the chicken part to breast part. And they replied its the same cook and they only have that part for their Arroz Caldo. We also ordered our usual tofu cubes with the tokwa't baboy soy sauce. But they served just fried tofu strips without anu sauce. Again we asked their staff abouth this because that we use to order these favourites on their menu. We are tryingto understand what happened? But the staff rudely told us that We as the customer made a mistake on our tofu order and she did not even bother to ask us if we prefer to have our orders to be replaced as per our usual order. Its like telling us its your mistake and we dont care so just deal with it! After that incident our family got so turned-off that we never came back to this lowkey eatery again. Because of their poor service and that rude staff who have treated us...
Read moreOur family had breakfast here to start our short getaway in Tagaytay. The ambience is very relaxing and welcoming. Their menu has a wide selection of Filipino comfort food, very family and group-friendly, and the taste lived up to our expectations. Since it's hard to choose my favorite dish, I'll just pick our group's favorite drink: Basil Lemonade, which we all couldn't stop talking about after our visit at the cafe. Above all, I think the highlight of the dining experience was how well we were treated by the staff. The service was exceptional. As someone who works in the hospitality industry, I can tell how genuinely they want to elevate our experience there. Thank you to Sir Sam, who welcomed us and helped us feel comfortable upon entering the place, considering we had a couple of elderly companions. He knows to anticipate our needs, and was extremely knowledgable about the menu. Kudos to the rest of the team for being consistently approachable and doing such a wonderful job in giving us an overall amazing experience. Highly...
Read moreRecommended by a close friend who now resides in Tagaytay, this casual, family friendly cafe is worth the trip!
Although there was not so much choices for vegetarians, their dishes can be flexible. Their fried foods are also good (not greasy yet crunchy)
Dishes to try: Bulalo, Sinigang, Fried Okoy, Lumpiang Gulay, Breakfast items (very yummy), their desserts (go for turon!).
We were a family of 13 (only 3 are kids) and our bill was surprisingly reasonable compared to big restaurants in the area. We enjoyed the dining so much that we went for dinner then came back for brunch!
The cafe is not that big although has space for parking, long tables for big groups and enough staff who are helpful and cheerful. Do expect to wait especially peak hours (for big groups).
P.S. No pictures taken because we were enjoying eating so much while having quality...
