The Place They are located in the main road so quite accessible but also means they are pretty busy with lots of vehicle traffic. Parking is somewhat limited and located across the street. There’s a couple of guys assisting customer to cross this busy road and that could be frightening. My kids and wife were terrified as there were some crazy drivers at the time and one of the assistants were not paying attention.
The Experience The place has a nice ambiance. They had several spots where you can sit. They had a kubo (with price tags of how much you need to consume so you can sit in there). It also felt like you are in the countryside with how they decorated the place.
Having a lot of reviews and being popular would make you think that this restaurant caters to different types of payment but No. I didnt see any signs at the front that they only do cash payment. I only learned about it when we were sitting down. Of course, my initial reaction was to say why “Dont you have card or gcash payments?” They said they were working on getting it done but dont have that service yet. And then I started to count my cash.
Unfortunately, we didnt have enough cash and I had to get me some cash. The nearest ATM Machine was 1km away and whether you take your car or walk, it would be almost the same amount of time. It took me 20-25 minutes to walk back and forth. I wasnt happy at all and told myself, the food better be good.
We ordered a pitcher of Iced tea. After it arrived we noticed that it had and insect floating and so we asked for it to be changed. So they took it away and gave us another pitcher that didnt have any insects.
I also noticed that one of the glasses they gave us was cloudy and has a lot of grime. So I asked one of the waitresses to get it and give me a new one and explained to her why. After about 5-10 minutes, I asked another waiter to get me a new glass because the other was taking so long. After another 10 minutes, I asked another waitress why it’s taking a long time to get a new glass? Finally, I got my glass after waiting another 2 minutes.
The Food We saw this place with lots of review and topping at above 4 stars but dont be fooled not all of what they serve are up to par with the rating.
The sisig was very delicious, smokey and a hint of spice.
The Bulalo was just ordinary. They said that it was one of their best sellers but it didnt taste that much.
The Tawilis was interesting as it was soft but crunchy at the same time. It tasted as what you would expect. It was served with a tiny amount of Achara which made me sad.
Summary I am not sure if I would recommend this place to others. The service wasn’t great. Although the price was similar to other areas, there are restaurants that have better food and ambiance. I do hope that they can somehow improve their service to customers and have other modes...
Read moreGreen ATS is situated just along the main road. Relatively easy to find & has ample amount of parking space.
They only offer common Filipino home dishes that you usually see during birthdays and other special occasions. They are best know for the BULALO.
Food quality = Great We ordered Bulalo, Crispy Pata, Pinakbet, Pansit, and Buko Pansit. Everything tastes great! The meals are really good value for the money you are paying.
Service = Great The staff are really kind and hospitable. From the security guard all the way to the ones serving the food. Everyone is very nice and smiles a lot.
Seating Cap = Very Ample The have over 15 tables capacity, each can seat around 8 to 10 people. great space for everyone. But I’m guessing that on a peak holiday season this place gets really crowded and will barely have any available seats. But that is just proof that this place is really great to go to if you don’t want to waste your money on disappointing 3rd rate restaurant.
Ambiance = Great They have a perfect unobstructed view of the taal lake as well as the overview of Talisay Bataan. Very relaxing and very romantic. Perfect location for a romantic date.
Value for money = Good

Read moreAs mobility restrictions have become less stringent, the place is again always packed with diners. So many, in fact, that a queueing system has been put in place. There is a tent where customers can wait in. Customers can also opt to stay in their vehicles and a member of the staff will imform them when their table is ready. It may take take several minutes or a few hours to be able to get a table. That alone is testament to how good the food is here. But the service has also improved. Health protocols are strictly in place. Masks are a must. Scan the QR code to be linked to their menu on Facebook. Weak signal can be a problem. There seems to be more staff now. From the security guards that assist in parking and queueing, to the waiters and waitresses. Of course, with so many people, they can still be rattled. But service was quick. Our orders got taken a couple minutes after reviewing the menu. And a few more minutes later, we were digging in while admiring the majestic view of Taal. Crowd fave remains their bulalo. Another staple is the crispy tawilis. Would also recommend the grilled liempo. After dining, we immediately billed out to make way for more diners. Green ATS is definitely worth waiting in line for. But, I think they are open 24 hours. So those craving bulalo at wee hours of the night can drop on by and...
