Harbour City Dimsum House — Restaurant in Tagbilaran

Although the food is tasty based on my previous visitson my visit I was amazed how bad the customer service was. In my time there although I counted about 15 staff members, no one was willing to serve me. When I was Seated I was told that my order would be taken shortly. A few minutes later a trolly arrived with steamed food, I ordered 1 steamed item then asked to order some fried items. I was rudely told to order from the other trolly as he pointed to it. The atmosphere is very calm. The staff are friendly. However, when we order, and when we say something on the menu, the waiter would then walk away from us to ask the head if the said item was available, which was not really great, because he should have known if the item is available or not. The food was quite tasty however the majority of the meals were loaded with shrimp, which means I can't really fully enjoy the meals. They put shrimp on way too many things. I wouldn't suggest this to a person who is allergic to shrimp, because it is everywhere. Overall,...

The place is regularly packed (because it is new). The food is good, the service better. All restaurants in the city should take a lesson or two from the customer service training this restaurant requires from their staff.

Like many dimsum houses, food here is carried around the restaurant in pushcarts, so if you are on a tight budget, you better watch what you pick from the servers who are all too willing to offer...
