Hukad — Restaurant in Tagbilaran

The first ever Hukad in Bohol is a thousand times better than that in Ayala Cebu in terms of customer service. Their waiters and servers are not only accommodating, but are also friendly, and will always attend to you with a smile. I hope it would stay this way.

Even as you enter the place, we will be cordially invited. Before you'll be seated, the attendant will announce your arrival and the rest of the staffs will give their anonymous, “welcome”. They even have their own “say cheese” when you ask them to take a family/ group picture.

I've been to Hukad a lot of times in Cebu, and I can say the one here in Bohol still captures that captivating flavor of their dishes. The crispy pata is highly recommended. Its so tasty, meaty, and best of all, crunchy! You'll surely love it to the bones. Available in small/ big servings.

The Chicken BBQ was delicious. It was tender, plump, juicy, succulent, and perfectly seasoned. The Fried Calamares was very tasty. Crispy fried coating on the outside. Tender, soft, perfectly cooked on the inside. Nice texture. The Pinakbet was very flavorful. The bitterness of the ampalaya was balanced by the sweetness of the tomatoes. The eggplant was plump and tender. I was not disappointed. Just as good as the branch in Cebu. The food was great. Would definitely come back again. Very nice ambiance. The staff was great. They were courteous, attentive, and accommodating. I had a fly fall into my drink (* Hot Calamansi No Sugar) and they gave me another one. The service was great. Prices are reasonable. 5 Stars out of 5 Stars!...

The restaurant is inside Alta Citta (Alturas) shopping mall. The staff are kind and efficient, and they do work hard, so please give them a smile (and a generous tip, there's no service charge in the bill)!
