JJ's Dimsum Express — Restaurant in Tagbilaran

Went here as my friends shared great review of the food. Turns out its a versus reality situation.

We arrived around 12:30 to order but it took at least 30 minutes before they served everything (instead to opting to serve it based on availability)

Fried dishes are soggy and bland, steam dishes are okay (quail egg siomai was the better one). Soup is okay nothing going on with it. The orange chicken ala carte we ordered is even sadder as the amount is as big as my fist.

The only saving grace is the Ube Tapioca and the sauces.

They pack it with styrofoam without putting in the plastic bag, The chopduey liquid scattered in my car keep in dripping my seat is very wet smell bad including the siopao i take out was wet and damage then i throw all the food along the way including the siopao. The problem is my car seat is also wet and smell bad. Waitress are very bad does not respond to customer needs. I will not again eat there. Just ok, ordered their combo offering of Beef steamed rice, mushroom siomai and small ice tea. It was reasonably priced at P176… although the steamed rice was just gravy with zero bits of anything, just plain gravy and the siomai was kinda “not fresh” hard not juicy.
