I have worked in the restaurant industry my entire career and take feedback seriously; I hope you find my feedback helpful. Service was an abysmal 1 Star or a Fail. They missed just about every standard of service you could miss. The Waiter shows up a few minutes after we sat down: “ready to order?” 🤦🏻‍♂️ we were a group of 6. I said “hello, what’s your name, what do you recommend? His command of the English language was not strong and we struggled to communicate with him. It took a long time to order due to his inability to understand my questions about the dishes or be able to provide sufficient details. For example, when I asked what protein did the eggplant dish come with, he answered “eggplant.” After what felt like forever, we placed our orders. I repeated to him several times that we wanted our drinks now. I had actually given him our drink orders first and sent him away to get our drinks and when he came back we placed our order, so I was already wondering where our drinks were. I again told him as he was leaving: “please bring drinks now.” Our drinks never showed up. After 10-15 minutes I went and asked for a manager. I told him we were waiting on our drinks. He said okay. 5 more minutes past and they started serving us our food. I was not happy. I told them, first we wanted our drinks. They took the food back and there was a mad scramble to fulfill our order which didn’t have anything complicated other than a Watermelon juice and some beers (besides soft drinks). It took nearly 10 minutes more to serve us our drinks. Then they brought the food which was now lukewarm. The food was good. Tasty. Had it been hot, I would have given 3 stars to balance the 1 Star service. But the food was not hot. We got the Singaporean set for php, 1,699. Everything was good, even the soup. We also ordered a mixed sampler: Outstanding. The Szechuan Eggplant was fantastic. I especially loved the Crab Egg Foo Young. Nobody ever came to check on us or to offer any dessert. We had to wave the guy down for the bill and a to-go box. Our bill was php, 4,600 Even paying the bill, I asked for an itemized copy, which they never gave to me and I had to go and ask the manager for a copy of the itemized receipt as I was leaving. 🤦🏻‍♂️ I should note: I wanted to pay an up-charge and get a different soup with the Singaporean meal set. The waiter said it was not allowed. I asked him to check with the manager. He also said it wasn’t allowed. Restaurants that do not understand the business model of “repeat business” should go out of business. I was willing to pay more and substitute a soup… nothing earth shattering. But their inability to be flexible with me will result in zero repeat business from me, forever. I do not believe you should reward stupidity, ignorance or an inability to use common sense. If the guest wants to pay more for a soup substitution, find a way to say “yes” versus focusing on the “NO”. Tell me what you can do versus telling me what you cannot. We will NEVER go back.

The restaurant stayed true in the offer of its Asian seafood selections. I was overwhelmed with the wide range of cuisines that you can choose from! From Thai to Indonesian to Singaporean, this place will really tend to your Asian cravings! The restaurant stayed true in its offer of its Asian seafood selections. Crustasia's must-try specials include 24 dishes in total and we got to try 6 of them. I like the Mixed Seafood Laksa the best! It's flavor somehow tastes like home. The Irresistable Indonesia Set was such a delight! The chicken satay is a must try! It's meat is tender and very flavorful! The Javanese Beef Rendang also has similar taste to that of our cuisine. The Thai set would probably be my favorite. I like most of the dishes included in this group. My recommends are the Pandan Chicken, Pad Thai, and Thai Shrimp Pancakes. The Pandan Chicken was tender and easy to eat, it wasn't that dry and I was able to really taste it's supposed pandan flavor. The Pad Thai certainly had that nutty taste and the tofu adds a somehow sour flavor to the dish. Mind you, I'm not a nut fan but this one I highly suggest you try. Their Thai Pancakes are also very enjoyable. I think I can eat them all! Haha! The Singaporean set includes crab, prawns, and scallops. My top recommendation for this set would be the cereal prawns. The cereal is really good to snack on!

Food portions was relatively small compared to the price points. Chicken Satay 3/5 this tastes more like chicken bbq than a satay Pad Thai Omelette 2/5 the egg was dry, the pad thai was fair. The sauce on top was super strong you wont be able to taste anything else Premium Seafood Rice 2/5 taste was fair. The portion was small. When we arrived the staff were just chatting in a table. We felt like we disturbed their chill. The waitress was cleaning a table and when we asked to either be seated elsewhere or turn down the aircon temp, she was irritated and she didnt seam like she was interested in our experience. The staff glared at us and whispered why we ordered so few food. The stares we got as we got short of cash as we didn't know they did not have a card option for payment, was humiliating. Good thing we were the only customers and they still looked like they wanted to do other things. This is one of the saddest taste and food experience we got.
