The Coffee Bean & Tea Leaf Venice Grand Canal Mall — Restaurant in Taguig

It's our first time to try this CBTL located at the Venice Grand Canal in Taguig. They open early @ 6:30am and closed @ 9:30pm. Since they are already open before the Mall opens at 10am, there is one problem with this branch, they don't have their own restroom for their customers, only their own staff can enter the mall before 10am. This can be a disadvantage with them. Theres no problem if you don't need to use a restroom during your stay here. I was thinking can it be one of the reasons why during early hours like 6:30am to 9am this CBTL branch is almost empty while Starbucks and Denny's that have their own restrooms have many customers. Their place is clean but I noticed some mosquitoes.

Some might say, maybe their Coffee and food is not that good. I tried Denny's in this mall and their coffee is watered down. I got brewed coffee and cream cheese carrot slice. Their coffee is good, I can say by the taste notes that they're using arabica beans with a hint of fruit notes, it's not too bitter and definitely not watered down. The cream cheese carrot slice was good but cannot be compared to how good the carrot cake of Toby's Estate @ SM Aura and Tita Vic's.

Their staff is accomodating, attentive and polite. Parking space entrance on the front of the mall is closed when I arrived around past 7am, the back entrance of the mall parking is open by that time though I need to walk around to go to CBTL. No weekend rates for their parking, 50.00 for the first 3 hours and 20.00 for the next 30 min.or any fraction thereof. They have tables and chairs outside as you can see in the pictures. I can visit again but might think twice if it's before...

The Coffee Bean and Tea Leaf at the Venice Grand Canal Mall is a good place to wait for your friends if your planning to meet up, wait for your Grab to arrive, general waiting because of the comfy seats and the good atmosphere. There is always going to be a free seat because this is not as crowded as the Starbucks that's three doors away and is a good alternative. They have both indoor and outdoor seating, with a variety of seat choices in both areas--your choice between low seats with a backrest good for two, or high stools good for groups of six. They have a good set of drinks to choose from, their tea options are excellent as well as their non-coffee based drinks so this place is somewhere you can bring kids to when you just want to rest your feet from the confusing maze that...

I invited my girl to have our morning coffee while she do her Hausaufgabe in here.

She had a Caramel Machiato her favourite as usual and mine is Latte.

As we spent a lengthy minutes, I finished my coffee and got another one. As my girl was about to sip on her mug, we noticed something in it and I kindly asked the female Barista to change it. In no hesitation, she immediately changed it. Which I appreciate the attitude she showed.

The rate I gave is overall how she handled the situation.
