I’ve dined here countless times, but this is the first time I’m writing a review. as a steak lover, it’s exciting to finally have a dedicated steakhouse here in zamboanga. one of the things I was really looking forward to when I came back from cebu was trying out this newly opened steakhouse in the city. back then, I was used to buying and cooking my own steaks, but now I’m happy that when I don’t feel like prepping or cooking, I have a place I can go to and still enjoy quality steak.
for starters, I recommend their potato wedges and truffle fries. light, crisp, and not too heavy. on the other hand, options like the bruschetta bites, steak bites, and smoked salmon crostini felt too heavy to be appetizers in my opinion.
I’ve tried both their USDA Aged Prime Ribeye and USDA Choice Ribeye, and one thing I truly appreciate is that they never disappoint when it comes to the doneness. whether I order it medium rare or medium well, it’s always perfectly done. hot, juicy, well-seasoned, and full of flavor.
I usually pair it with their mushroom gravy or chimichurri mayo, and for sides, you get to choose five. I always go for steak rice and mixed veggies. solid, satisfying combo every time.
I’ve tried nearly everything from their pasta menu classic carbonara, Italian meatball, steak pasta, truffle cream pasta, alfredo & shrimp aglio olio. what stood out the most for me were the truffle cream pasta, Italian meatball, and of course, the classic carbonara.
If you’re a fan of rich, creamy pasta with a luxurious twist, the Truffle Cream Pasta is definitely worth trying. This dish brings together the elegance of truffle oil with the comforting creaminess of a classic cream sauce. The aroma alone is inviting. earthy and indulgent, thanks to the generous use of truffle oil. the sauce is smooth and well-balanced, not overpowering, with the freshly grated parmesan adding just the right amount of saltiness and depth. It coats the spaghetti perfectly, making each bite creamy and flavorful without feeling too heavy. You can really taste the quality of the ingredients. simple, yet elevated.
while the Italian Meatballs Pasta is a hearty, comforting classic done right. At the heart of this dish are the juicy, well-seasoned meatballs. tender on the inside with a slight crisp on the outside. You can tell they’re made with care, not the frozen kind. They soak up the sauce beautifully, making each bite flavorful and satisfying. their own tomato sauce is another highlight. It’s rich, slightly tangy, and tastes homemade. like it simmered for hours to reach that perfect balance of sweetness and acidity. It pairs so well with the spaghetti, which is cooked just right. not too soft, not too firm. topped with a generous layer of freshly grated parmesan, this dish delivers that authentic Italian comfort food experience. It’s nostalgic, filling, and full of flavor.
I’m a little biased because I love carbonara, but theirs is creamy, bold in flavor, and beautifully simple. each forkful delivers that authentic taste. definitely a must-try. best parts? serving size. It’s a hefty portion, perfect for 2 to 3 people, especially if paired with some bread or a side salad. it’s a dish that feels both indulgent and satisfying.
one time, for non-steak options, I brought my partner who isn’t a fan of steaks, so he went with their BBQ Chicken Wings. Yes, it’s priced a bit higher than your usual wings spot, but the serving size is big enough for 2–3 people, and the quality makes it worth it. The wings were freshly cooked. no black bones or freezer aftertaste. you can tell the chicken was fresh and not frozen for days, which should be the standard in every restaurant.
the place is perfect for an intimate dinner. great food, cozy ambiance, and consistently good service. Whether you’re there for a casual lunch or a date night, this spot delivers on quality and comfort. A must-visit for steak lovers in zamboanga. good food, good portions, clean execution, and a reliable place for a great...
Read moreFirst, we start with the experience. As we sat, we were greeted by the staff setting the atmosphere. One lit a candle, setting it down on our table. Another preparing a lamp, both giving off a warm, orange light. All the lights in the building are warm, as if a comforting embrace. The place is rather quiet, but the plants subtly give it some liveliness in stark contrast to the modernized style.
The music set the mood aswell, slowing down the pace and allowing you to savor every second of the atmosphere. The staff are observant, treating you like royalty. I was having trouble with the hot sauce, and the staff came and helped me out. As it turns out, the bottle was new, and needed to be fixed. The condiments were absolutely amazing.
However, the food has it's cons along with rpos. The menu was quite costly, and the food was rather bland, focusing more on texture than it does flavor. The steak was crispy, and the crisp tasted like charcoal. However, the texture was simply delightful. Tender steak, crispy chips, and perfect chicken wings. Tender on the inside, criso yet delicious on the outside. The chicken wings were generously coated in sauce. The mashed potatoes were rather bland, with no gravy to go along with it, but I ate it along with the other food.
While being costly, the food does offer a great size. It'a the kind of size that makes you feel bloated. The food is more on texture than taste, so the flavor may not be to your expectation. Otherwise, it's...
Read moreWe recently visited your restaurant and have some thoughts to share. The steak was absolutely incredible—seriously, it was cooked perfectly, tasted amazing, and felt totally worth the price. Definitely a highlight! However, our aglio olio pasta was unfortunately way too salty, and the truffle fries didn't really taste much like truffle, which was a bit of a letdown. Also, we noticed that where we were seated, near the entrance and glass window, the air conditioning didn't seem to reach very well, making it a little warmer than we expected.
On the bright side, your team was super friendly and helpful, which we really appreciated. They made us feel welcome! Just a small heads-up, we did find ourselves having to ask for a few things, like serving spoons and water, that we thought might be offered automatically.
Overall, we still had a good time, and that steak...
