Crazy Butcher Gdańsk Butchery & Bistro — Restaurant in Gdansk

It was a delight to visit Crazy Butcher at the end of 2021. For starters, we ordered beef tartare and black pudding. For the main course we chose a burger and a lamb kebab. Black pudding was perfect and melted in the mouth, crispy on the outside, creamy on the inside, great texture, the addition of sweet caramelized fruit perfectly complemented this dish. The tartare was impeccable, beautifully seasoned. The burger turned out to be one of the best I've had the opportunity to try. Burger toppings are a matter of taste, they suited me, but the meat was just exceptional, subtly seasoned, the taste of perfect beef played the main role and it was an Oscar-winning role. I’ve dined here twice so far and both times were fantastic. As an American from a city known for its beef I have had a hard time finding good beef and steaks in Gdańsk, but now my search is over. I’ve had the Hangar Steak and the burger and both were perfect. The burger is without question the best in Gdańsk and probably the best in all of Poland, and one of the best I have had in my entire life. You could really taste the quality of the beef. Some places get too fancy with their burgers, but this one was classic and well balanced, and for a price that is so good that I’ll be coming here once a week for my beef fix from now on.

Update: I’ve now been here more than a dozen times and I can’t get enough...

Was visiting Gdańsk for a long weekend and had stumbled across this fantastic concept butcher!/bistro on google. I am from Scotland the home of the Highland cow, so I come with high expectations. I am delighted to say these expectations were met fully. I ordered the T-Bone steak, which was cooked to perfection and full of flavour. My girlfriend got the burger, which she enjoyed.

The brunette waitress (never caught her name) communicated well with us and delivered a friendly service. Without any prompting she kindly showed me the raw seasoned T-Bone cut I ordered to ensure I was happy with everything.

If ever back in Gdańsk, I will definitely be coming back to this fantastic...
