One extra star for decent food. Otherwise, the experience was really bad. We came as a small group, the waitress was ignoring us for about 20min despite the fact that the place was empty. Then we were told our menu options were limited to 5 items only. Not because they're out of stock but because they didn't want to cook several meals for a group. When we opposed that the waitress rolled her eyes on us. Our drinks arrived 20mins later. At the end they added a mandatory tip because we were a group. I refused to pay because the service was horrible and the staff didn't deserve anything extra. The food was good though and that was the only good experience there. I used to live in a number of countries in Europe, in fact I came to Gorzow from Canada to visit my cousins and I never ever had such a bad service experience with any hospitality place. The owner should get rid off the service staff but leave the cooks, train the new staff how to treat customers with dignity and then they have 5* and 25%...
Pierwszy minus, to parking. Drugi, trudniejszy do zrozumienia minus to rezerwacja i obsługa. Wzieliśmy 5 różnych dań i desery. Docelowo 4 gwiazdki ponieważ jedzenie, wielkość porcji i wystrój przewyzszają złe wrażenie początkowe. Odwiedzimy na pewno ponownie. 🇬🇧 Let me start with the minuses. We went to Gorzów and, choosing the Google ranking, we chose Futerał. The first minus is the parking lot. We had terrible weather, a lot of rain, and the nearest parking space was 250 meters away, which meant it was easier to come in sweatpants than to dress nicely. The second, more difficult to understand, disadvantage is reservation and service. Over the phone, we (probably) found an Eastern-speaking lady who, if she could, would prefer not to book a table at all. When we got there, we met her again, and she couldn't give any professional advice, she was rude and rude. We were about to leave but my wife talked me into tasting the dishes once we got here. And a big plus here, because even though the prices were more in line with Poznań or Szczecin than Gorzów, the dishes themselves were in the right portions and, most importantly, they were really tasty and expressive. We took 5 different dishes and desserts. We were satisfied with all of them, from the Hungarian pancake to the beef. The decor of the place was quite unusual, but it was clean and tidy. I was going to give 3 stars for the rude service, but the elderly people sitting next to us said that this is what some people do here - so we treated it as Eastern Gorzów folklore, maybe it's part of the atmosphere of this place? Ultimately 4 stars because the food, portion size and decor outweigh the bad initial impression. We will definitely...
Read moreWaited an hour for food to be served, when I politely asked the waitress after half an hour how long I need to wait she was very rude when responding that there is other people here too and they need serving first. When food arrived my meal had mushrooms in the sauce which were not stated on the menu and I could not eat it as I am alergic, I asked the waiter if I could swap for a plain portion to which the answer was a straight no. When the bill came, my dish which I hadn’t touched was included in the overall price and the owner was very rude when I asked her why I should pay for something I didn’t consume she told me it was because she had to throw it in the bin. Very rude staff and...
