Mama Curry in Katowice, a place that truly won our hearts with its incredible food and warm hospitality. If I could give them 10 stars, I absolutely would because they deserve it for both the delicious Indian food and the loving care they offer to their customers.

I have traveled to more than 30 countries, and wherever I go, I always make sure to try Indian food. It’s my way of staying connected to home while exploring new places. I have tasted Indian cuisine in restaurants across many countries, but I must say that Mama Curry offers the best Indian food I have ever had outside of India. The flavors were rich and authentic, and every bite reminded me of home. Honestly, it felt like I was eating food made with love. Of course, nothing can compare to my mom’s cooking, but Mama Curry’s food comes very close. It made me feel warm, happy, and nostalgic.

What made the experience even more special was the heartwarming hospitality we received. The staff at Mama Curry were incredibly kind and welcoming, treating us more like family than customers. The way they served the food, with love and care, reminded me of how my grandmother used to offer meals back home. It wasn’t just about the food – it was the personal touch and warmth that made us feel so comfortable. Every time we walked in, we were greeted with big smiles and genuine kindness. They even checked on us during our meals to make sure everything was perfect. This level of personal care is rare, and it made our experience truly unforgettable.

We also found the prices to be very reasonable, which was surprising given the top-quality food they serve. The food was worth every penny, and we never felt like we were overpaying. Compared to other places we've been to, Mama Curry offers great value for money.

Here’s the best part: we stayed in Katowice for 3 days, and after our first visit to Mama Curry, we loved it so much that we couldn’t stop going back. Initially, we didn’t know about the restaurant. My husband found it on Google, and we decided to give it a try. It turned out to be the best decision we made during our trip. After the first meal, we both agreed that we had to return. And guess what? We ended up eating there for all 3 days of our stay! Yes, for every single meal, we went back to Mama Curry. The food was just that good!

If you are in Katowice and looking for authentic Indian food, don’t miss Mama Curry! It’s the perfect place to enjoy delicious food served with love and care. Whether you are familiar with Indian cuisine or trying it for the first time, you will definitely enjoy your meal here. The food reminded us of home-cooked meals, and the staff made us feel like family.

Thank you, Mama Curry, for giving us such a memorable experience. We will definitely visit again if we come back to Katowice. Highly recommended to anyone visiting the city. If there was an option, I would gladly give them...

We visited for a short trip on 9th of March to Katowice from Warsaw. Upon searching in Google we found this one with good ratings. We ordered Chicken biriyani and manchurian. Food was good. But there was a lady who was managing the things super ignorant. I cannot blame her but the management. There should be two persons that who can split her duty. We sat and waiting for her to give us the menu card and then I had to go to the counter and ask for it. Next , she didn't gave us spoons as well while placing the dishes on the table. I wanted to order for something but she was roaming here there . We got frustrated and don't wanna order further more and we went silently. So request to the management to appoint someone who can take order and cleaning the tables. This will definitely affect your business because people expect a...

I have dined at this place 3 times and the last 2 experiences was disgusting. Food was old off stinky and when confronted the chef his excuse im not meat eater. This place in the last 2 years has become absolutely vile. This was my first review when it opened new!!!! I recently dined at Mama Curry in Katowice, and the experience was delightful! The Manchurian cauliflower and chicken drumsticks were bursting with authentic flavors, reminiscent of home-cooked meals. The dishes felt as though my mother had personally prepared them. Without a doubt, Mama Curry is the best new Indian restaurant in Katowice. Don't miss the opportunity to try their Mango Lassi – a refreshing and perfectly balanced treat. I highly recommend this place for a genuine taste of Indian cuisine. Positive vibes all the way! 🌶️🍛👌

Such a horrible experience ordering Masala Dosa and a plate of idly. Had ordered Ghee Masala Dosa though it wasn’t part of the menu the receptionist didn’t ask if it was ghee or masala dosa to be ordered, we were served a cold ghee dosa which was not even edible and we were forced to either eat it or throw it when asked to take it back. I wonder if I were to take the plate out and find a dustbin on the road to throw the dosa. There was a time when the food served used to be good and it’s been a year since I came for some dosa to experience this treatment. On asking for hot masala dosa as we wanted masala dosa we were charged twice for the cold ghee dosa and the masala dosa. Never coming back ever again or recommending to anyone

Today’s lunch at Mama Curry—tandoori chicken and paneer palak—was decent enough to fill us up. But for anyone familiar with authentic Indian cuisine, the experience raised eyebrows. For the first time in my life dining at Indian restaurants, I was served a cabbage salad straight out of a Polish-Chinese fusion playbook. Clearly added to cater to local tastes, it may please some, but it undermines the authenticity of the meal. It’s a shame, really—because by making such compromises, they lose the essence of what Indian food is meant to be. Even if the salad was tasty, I didn’t come for a cabbage side dish. Disappointing for purists.
