Tawerna Rybitwa — Restaurant in Sopot

I have dined at this place a few times in the last a couple of years. Located right on the beach, very close to the main promenade (Monciak) and the famous pier (Molo). It looks small from the outside but can accommodate lots of guests. White color dominates the interior and it blends really well with the decor. Mostly, they serve fish in many varieties. There is also a menu for kids not willing to try out the tasty fish. Everything is served in a colorful manner with lots of vegetables. The quality of service was different each time I dined. Once, it was horrible, the waitress was just rude and the rest of the time, I was pleasantly surprised how I was treated. One thing to improve on is the toilet. There is only one, for all genders, and it is really small. People tend to wait in a long line for their turn standing right next to the occupied tables. Overall experience...

We decided to dine at this restaurant as it was on the beach and expected the seafood to be great as it was a seafood restaurant. We had the shrimp and calamari as a starter. The shrimp were good, however not worth 51zloty for the amount given. The calamari were absolutely overcooked and the breading was terrible. We all had the cod. 2 out of 3 of the cod dishes were filled with bones, greasy and overcooked. The service however, was great. I exoected more than what was received. The ace was not busy at all and I guess my expectations were more than what was provided. At least the atmosphere was mice. All in all I would look elsewhere if you are expecting...

Big disappointment because of the service. Especially young lady with glasses. We came to the restaurant around 21:05 and got a menu. At 21:10 we were asked for our order but we were not ready to order meals just drinks. When we were ready to order meals, at 21:20 this young lady with glasses told us it's not possible to order anymore because kitchen is closed. From my point of view its very unprofessional. She could told us when they accept last orders. Besides of this accident the restaurant looks very nice with view on the beach and sea but unfortunately I can't tell nothing more about this place.. just big expectations and at the end huge...
