Tawerna Molo — Restaurant in Sopot

It's very rare I leave a daming review of a place without actually experiencing they have to offer, as it's not really fair or my style but an interaction with a host before we even set foot into this establishment has led me to no alternate.

We we just about to walk down the pier and had pin pointed this place as a really nice place to stop on our return journey for our lunch, my wife walked in to have a look at the place and ask the host where the local toilets where as our 12 year old daughter needed to use one. The host began to inform my wife that "he is not a tour guide" or is he "A local leisure host" and was very rude around something quite honestly which is quite out of order. We left quite promptly and decided to eat somewhere else.

And for those of you reading this and think perhaps it was a language barrier or a miscommunication, my wife is polish and speaks fluently including within this conversation, the host needs to find another role in another industry if he cannot comprehend or interact with a simple customer service interaction,...

Do NOT GO TO THIS PLACE am still traumatized ,The waiter at this place is so unfriendly and rude and quite frankly very racist ! We got there after a long drive and we wanted to use the toilet first before we take a look at the menu , this waiter of a rude man ambushed us when we were coming from the toilet doors talking to us like little kids , we even explained to him that that’s not good customer service he forced us to pay 20pln which also made no sense ,after his ambush he forced us to sit down which we refused because he spoiled the mood already and told him there is no way we are eating here after rushing us , we’re on holiday to spend our money how we want to , rude unproffesional and I repeat rascist !! He should not be working at that place if he has to deal with tourists he doesn’t like to deal with , we ended up going to another restaurant nearby and the vibe was warm , DO NOT ENTER THIS PLACE IF YOU ARE NOT POLISH THEY DONT WANT US THERE , they will treat you so bad and ruin...

We visited the ice cream and waffle place yesterday (me my daughter and my husband) it wasn't very busy but it took over 20 min to make our bubble waffles it looks like only one waffle maker was there as we got our waffles one by one.They were very tasty and i would leave 5 stars if it wasn't for the staff.COVID 19 global pandemic and staff preparing food not wearing masks.3 ladies there 2 eating zapiekanki while preparing our waffles!!! Ok they were wearing gloves but the lady at the till handled money first then went straight to food wearing the same gloves.One lady that obviously just finished her shift got herself ice-cream from the machine and was eating it while chatting to the other two ladies that were preparing our food but she was still in the food prep area.I won't be back which is a shame as we really liked the waffles.I know this review isn't for the restaurant but its obviously the same owner as on the receipt it says...
