Caffe Venezia Club — Restaurant in Szczecin

This place was the setting for probably the most random and surreal treatment I've ever experienced in a bar/restaurant. We entered the place this morning around 11 for a quick breakfast and ordered cappuccino and croissants. It was a quiet Tuesday, just a few clients having coffee, so the staff was not particularly busy. The waitress took our orders with an unexplained frown on her face, but still, she said it was ok and asked us to wait. We sat down for around five minutes, until... She came back to tell us that there were no croissants, even though we could see many of them exposed in a display case with their price tag on. I honestly don't know what happened, I tried to ask the waitress why couldn't she serve us the croissants in the window, but she just repeatedly refused to speak out, kept asking if we wanted to order anything different, and left without saying goodbye when we said no. After the paradoxal conversation we are left wondering about those croissants. Maybe they were really old and the lady didn't want to admit it? Maybe we looked like "the kind of people" who would run away without paying? If anyone can...

Fantastic breakfast spot and outstanding dinners

Luckily I’ve been able to visit this restaurant several times and I can honestly say that this restaurant is in its own class! This is not your typical Italian restaurant, this is a true gastronomic experience! This home-cozy beautifully decorated restaurant feels like the authentic Italy! You will truly be surprised, even if you’re in the mood for a very delicate fish soup that fits beautifully with the calamari or if you’re in the mood for trying something out of the ordinary with the beef cheeks. The chefs and especially the main chef are true masters!

Also, if you’re up for grabbing a breakfast or a late lunch, there is no better place in the city! The restaurant uses true “Illy” Italian coffee and the chefs have created something out of the ordinary!

Sloooooooooooooow service. Barely any customers, 9 peoples staff (including 2 light blue shirts managers?) and we were waiting over an hour for food, which was just ok but definitely not worth the wait. From the entire group of staff hanging out at the counter, nobody acknowledged, greeted or seated us. After 20 min I just went and got the menus myself. Btw the response to my question about wait time was, that they have only one kitchen to service two restaurants. How do they handle the orders when the place is full?! Overall unpleasant experience.
