Podgrzany Talerz — Restaurant in Szczecin

I recently had the opportunity to visit this restaurant, and overall, it was a pleasant experience, especially when it came to the food and service. The place has a relaxed and inviting atmosphere, making it a great spot to enjoy a casual evening out with friends or family. One of the highlights of the menu is definitely the pizza, which is absolutely delicious. The crust was perfectly baked—crispy on the outside yet soft and airy on the inside. The toppings were fresh, flavorful, and generously portioned, showing real attention to quality ingredients and preparation.

While we were impressed with the food, we did decide to try a couple of cocktails during our visit, and unfortunately, they didn’t quite meet our expectations. We ordered a Negroni and a Margarita, but neither of them was as well-balanced or flavorful as we had hoped. The Negroni lacked the depth and richness that makes it such a classic drink, and the Margarita was a bit too sour and didn’t have the smoothness we were looking for. It felt like the cocktails were a bit rushed in their preparation, which was a bit of a letdown considering how enjoyable the food was.

That being said, the staff at this restaurant truly stood out. They were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and attentive throughout our visit. Their positive energy and professionalism added a lot to the experience, and they made us feel well taken care of from the moment we walked in. They were also very accommodating, regularly checking in to make sure we had everything we needed and seemed genuinely interested in ensuring we had a good time.

Despite our slight disappointment with the cocktails, we still had a really nice evening, and the excellent pizza and outstanding service more than made up for it. I would definitely recommend this place to anyone looking for a casual dining spot with great food and a fun, laid-back vibe. Wir haben heute am 30.4.25 ca. um 21:10 2 Pizzen bestellt und die Bestellung wurde genehmigt bzw akzeptiert und war in Vorbereitung. Auch bei der Bezahlung haben wir eine Benachrichtigung erhalten das es akzeptiert und bezahlt wurde. Nach 1:30 Stunden Wartezeit, ich wiederhole 1:30 Stunden Wartezeit haben wir immer Mal die Benachrichtigung erhalten das es in 10 Minuten, in 5 Minuten und am Ende stand "fast da" ankommt und angekommen ist. Plötzlich kam die Meldung "Bestellung storniert". Daraufhin habe ich den Laden angerufen und gefragt was das soll und die Dame am Telefon konnte kein gutes Englisch und ich wollte den Chef sprechen und er sagte mir nach dem ich ihn angeschrien habe, das die Zahlung nicht durchgegangen ist. Wie bitte!? Ich sagte ihm das wir die Benachrichtigung erhalten haben, das es bezahlt wurde sowie seit 1:30 Stunden die Bestellung am vorbereiten war und fast da gewesen wäre, wie kann das passieren!? Ich empfehle diesen Laden nicht weiter! In Stettin haben die Restaurants alle ab 22 Uhr geschlossen gefühlt, wir hatten nichts zu essen und wegen den mussten wir verhungern! Respektlos! Die kamen nicht einmal mit einer Geste entgegen! Warum wurde dann die Bestellung akzeptiert und die sagen mir nach meinem Anruf nach 1:30 Stunden erst das es an der Zahlung lag? Wen wollen die anlügen? Respektloses und nicht vertrauenswürdiger Laden! Geht da niemals bestellen!

We ordered two pizzas today, April 30, 2025, at approximately 9:10 PM. The order was approved or accepted and was in preparation. When we paid, we also received a notification that it had been accepted and paid for. After waiting 1:30 hours—I repeat, 1:30 hours—we repeatedly received notifications that it would arrive in 10 minutes, 5 minutes, and finally, it said "almost here," and it had arrived. Suddenly, the message "order canceled" came up. I then called the store and asked what that was about. The lady on the phone didn't speak good English, so I wanted to speak to the manager, and after I yelled at him, he told me that the payment hadn't gone through. Excuse me! I told him that we had received the notification that it had been paid, and that the order had been in preparation for 1:30 hours and was almost there. How could that happen? I don't recommend this store! In Szczecin, all the restaurants closed after 10 p.m. We had nothing to eat, and they made us starve! Disrespectful! They didn't even acknowledge me with a gesture! So why was my order accepted, and then, after I called 1:30 hours later, they only told me it was the payment issue? Who are they trying to lie to? A disrespectful and untrustworthy place! Never...

Quality crafted pizza, with a discernible serving of truly Italian, high quality ingredients. It tastes very well, although the dough itself isn't a perfectly genuine example of napoletana - the original would render tad thinner, but it is a rather minor issue for most. Once you receive your beloved piece of Italian cuisine, several variants of olive oil are freely available to give it the final touch (and they indeed make a difference, with so many different flavours in the roster). One drawback of the place is its overall setting; the music could have been less intrusive and the interior would benefit greatly from a slight details-oriented overhaul.
