Kiełba w Gębie — Restaurant in Warsaw

I ordered the smoked sausage with baked potato from the English menu (even showed it to the staff), I was expecting someting similar to the 3rd photo but what I got was totally different (first 2 photos). Instead of baked potato, they served me this burnt block of fries. so I asked the staff if it was supposed to be like that because it looked super overcooked and honestly not edible. I was hoping that they'd replace it even with just regular fries but the lady just kept saying “casserole” that it was really supposed to be like that 🫩. Anw she seemed really confused, so I don’t think she understood what I meant by “burnt”.

Later I looked it up on their FB page, they posted one recently (last image) and I found out it is something they call “Podlaska baba ziemniaczana" or "Podlasie Potato Cake”. And the one they served is nothing like that.

In the end, I couldn’t eat it. Felt bad wasting food, but I already lost my appetite. Definitely not what I expected and pretty...

The restaurant employees allow themselves to be disrespectful and horrible to the delivery guys. I'll never go here again and won't recommend it to anyone. I observed the situation few days ago between the employees of this restaurant and the delivery guys. The delivery guy waited a long time to get his order and asked the employees about the waiting time. The employees of the restaurant said that they have a lot of orders and if he wants he can go to the kitchen and help them. At the same time the employees of the establishment laughed at the courier. After a while there was a conflict when the courier wanted to pick up the order. The courier ended up saying that you shouldn't treat couriers that way and make fun of them. The whole time the courier was speaking in English. The employees of the restaurant yelled at him in response, and said that he should learn Polish, because this is Poland. Poor quality sausages and poor quality of the rest of what is on the plate. Furthermore, the staff doesn't care about you. This is not unusual, as most bar and restaurant workers in Poland are rude, calling you YOU, not Sir, which is unacceptable in Polish culture. But at the moment I'm not worried about poor service because that's not the subject of this review. The sausages are strange and therefore of poor quality. It has nothing to do with a good, traditional Polish sausage. Such places make traditional Polish cuisine look much worse than it is. Shame. ❌ Not...
