Let me start by saying that Argitator Ramen in Warsaw has by far the worst service I've ever encountered in my travels around the world. The staff were not only slow and inefficient, but also incredibly rude and dismissive, making our dining experience a complete nightmare.

From the moment we walked in, we were met with indifference and incompetence. We were made to wait for an absurd amount of time just to be seated, and once we were finally seated, the waitstaff couldn't be bothered to take our orders promptly. Their lackadaisical attitude and utter disregard for customer service was appalling.

The rudeness of the staff was truly astounding. They spoke to us in a condescending and patronizing tone, as if we were an inconvenience to their day. Our inquiries and requests were met with eye rolls and sighs, and they seemed annoyed whenever we asked for anything. It was abundantly clear that they had zero interest in providing even the most basic level of hospitality.

As if the abysmal service wasn't enough, the restaurant failed to live up to being baby-friendly. There were no high chairs or any provisions made for infants. We had to repeatedly ask for basic necessities like a plate or spoon and the staff acted inconvenienced by our requests, showing a blatant disregard for families with young children.

To top it all off, the food was a disappointment. The ramen lacked flavor and authenticity, and the portion sizes were minuscule considering the exorbitant prices they charged. It was evident that they were more interested in making a quick buck than in providing a satisfying dining experience.

In conclusion, I cannot stress enough how horrendous our experience at Argitator Ramen in Warsaw was. The appalling service, rude staff, lack of baby-friendly amenities, and subpar food left us feeling utterly disappointed and disrespected. Save yourself the trouble and avoid this establishment at all costs. I wouldn't wish this level of incompetence and rudeness on my...

Describing our trek to this popular spot:

You stand in line outside expecting really something delicious that awaits you inside, so we waited about 20 minutes (which is okay and we were still feeling positive).

After our turn came up, a not very friendly waiter (and honestly very tired) gives us a seat which is as discomforting as possible, there were two of us and we were put at a four seater table with two other people, which is really not very comfortable. At this point we were still positively giddy as we thought that it can't possibly be unpalatable in a place like this. Also it should be said that there was another free place and we very carefully asked the waiter if we could move, to which we were refused in the most negative form.

So we ordered two different ramen, one meat and one vegetarian, both of which were so salty you literally couldn't eat them without water as the sensation of salt haunts you too much. We ended up ordering a bottle of water (10 PLN), don't you think it would be cool to give your customers water if your food is so salty? Also it should be said that the soup was so greasy that you literally hate eating it, from the good points - the meat in the ramen (which was basically kebab) was really tasty, the corn was also very tasty. Everything else is maximally salty and greasy.

I rate my visit as unsatisfactory, it is unlikely we will ever come to Arigator again. Uncomfortable, unflavorful, very...

I was seated at the window and everyone came after me got to order already. so I reached to the counter and asked can I please order? And she pointed to my table, told me to go back. So i went back and another waitress came and i showed her picture on restaurant’s instagram. I asked do you have this one? Cause i’m not sure if it’s the one in the menu (there’s no photo). She said no and pointed her finger strongly to the menu card on my hand twice. “No, we have this” with boredom face then she walked away and got order from the next table and came back fast asked me to order so i asked her more to show me the picture on instagram on my phone which is the one i asked. So she tapped on my phone to show me and stared to raise her voice and be more upset and said “are you ready? We don’t have time” with unacceptable and disrespectful gesture and facial expression. So i ordered quickly. Once i paid my bill another waitress asked me how’s the food. I said it’s ok but the service is not. She asked me what happened. I said you will see on the review later. And i didn’t get any apology from her.

I don’t know if she’s tired or whatever but this is very normal to ask for more info before ordering. If she doesn’t want to do this everyday my kind advice is just LEAVE. Don’t spread this kind of unwillingness and disrespect to...

A lot of friends really recommended this place, so we decided to give it a go. First attempt was on Friday evening, but there was a massive queue, which didn't seem to move at all, so we went somewhere else. Next attempt was on Monday lunchtime. We waited 10 minutes in the queue and were invited in. The restaurant is very small and it wasn't very comfortable. The plate did barely fit on the tiny tabletop next to the wall. We ordered "ramen of the week" and "tantanmen classic". The food arrived quite quickly, which was quite a positive surprise considering the amount of customers inside. The noodles were very nice, among other ingredients. However, the broth was extremely salty, so we did not finish our food. The waitress did not ask us how our food is after serving, nor did she ask us about why we have not finished the dishes (which she clearly saw). Personally, I think the place is overhyped and overcrowded, which affects the quality of service. I had much higher expectations from a place often described to be the best ramen in Warsaw.

You will never be lacking in places that serve ramen here in Warsaw so best believe that I am on the hunt to find the best of the best. That being said, Arigator is definitely up there for the title of the best bowl. I got the Mushroom Vege bowl and it was absolutely superb - the noodles were soft and chewy, the broth was the perfect amount of umami without being overly salty, and all the of the veggies complimented each other well. Come hungry because you will want to finish your entire bowl. My only complaint is that there are not many vegetarian options (one) which is kind of a bummer. I know that there are specialty vegan ramen shops in town, but I would have loved to try some of the other flavors in a veggie-friendly version. I would also recommend checking out their instagram to see what their specialty flavors are because they do not appear on the normal menu. IMPORTANT: Arigator is WALK-IN ONLY so expect to wait in a quick line, depending on what day of the week it is 🍜
