Neapolis — Restaurant in Warsaw

We visited the restaurant as a family of five on a Sunday during the day. Overall, the experience was pleasant — the atmosphere was nice and most dishes were tasty. I would not come back here again unless they change.

We ordered a variety of dishes: calamari, octopus, salads, kofta, a burger, steak, French fries, fresh orange juice, and lemonade. The food was flavorful and well-presented.

However, there are several things that could be improved: • The kofta was dry, which is often expected, but a juicier version would be more enjoyable. • The burger was also too dry, especially the patty — it felt overcooked and lacked moisture. • The steak was the biggest disappointment: it weighed around 120–150 grams, but cost 30 euros. That pricing feels unfair, especially since the menu does not indicate portion sizes, which creates misleading expectations. Most guests would expect a steak to be at least 200 grams. • We ordered the steak medium-well, but it arrived very well-done, which significantly affected the taste and texture.

Regarding service: • The staff was friendly, and we appreciated that the chef personally took our order when the waitstaff was overwhelmed. • The terrace area was fully occupied, while only a few tables were taken indoors. • It was clear that the number of staff was insufficient to handle the number of guests, even though it was a regular Sunday afternoon. Service was slow and disorganized at times.

In conclusion, while we enjoyed the overall taste of the food and the friendliness of the staff, we believe the restaurant should improve in the following areas: • portion transparency on the menu, • consistency in food preparation (especially for steaks and burgers), • and better staffing to manage guest flow.

Please, I beg you, reopen SM BARABAN or at least get the waiting staff and Chefs that used to work at Baraban.

I had this pleasure to visit the restaurant with family and friends. At the beginning, looks as nice place but then all the sudden the wow effect disappears.

The atmosphere and the interior is good nothing to say bad about it.

The waiting staff shall be improved. No proper attention to details and the customers. IF you have complain 2 times about the same dish from the customers you either ask the manager or someone who is capable of dealing with the situation and do not just take the plates and disappears.

The food is the weakest point of this place and it shall be the opposite.

The risotto - ok The mussels - ok The burger - just the meat is good the rest which is few pieces of lettuce, 3 slices of cucumber, and 2 halves of sun dried tomato will not do the work, so sorry but this is no for me. The prawns - first time come undercooked what for sea food is unacceptable. The second time come well done and burnt from outside what again for the sea food is unacceptable. The worst are the calamari. First time come undercooked and chewy. The second time come even more chevy than the first time and the size of the breading on the calamari is 3times bigger than just calamari. However the quality of the calamari is the worst we had and the preparation of it does not deserve to be served.

To sum up, the place is far away from the SM BARABAN, and the food is far far away from being good. Maybe we were unlucky in choosing the right and good dishes that chefs know how to prepare at Neapolis but the ones described deserve for the moment to be removed from the menu until they are at perfect stage and eatable. Sorry but for me this new concept of Neapolis at Wilanów is NO GO...

We had made a reservation for a table on the terrace. When we arrived, there was no space outside. We were told politely that it would take around 40 minutes, which ended up being over 60 minutes.

Unfortunately, the food was disappointing. We ordered four different dishes, all of which lacked flavor. The fries were undercooked, the salad consisted of just three leaves, and the meat tasted like poor-quality slaughterhouse meat.

Service was also poor. No one asked if we wanted another drink, and even our first round of drinks took a long time to arrive and the order wasn’t even correct.

The kids' play area was unfinished just a pile of cushions and nothing more. The staff seemed unprofessional and clearly overwhelmed, especially on a sunny Sunday when you’d expect more preparation.

When we wanted to pay, it took ages. Even when we walked up to the staff ourselves, we kept getting referred to someone else. Honestly, if we had just left, they probably wouldn’t have noticed. After about 15 minutes, we finally managed to pay.
