We came here as we were recommended to check it out. The bar is cute and worth seeing, but I have to mention that I had a bad experience with the manager. The gentleman bartender was amazing and helpful. The menu they have isn't updated, so they didn't have some cocktails anymore (which was fine as the male bartender was super helpful and made a recommendation for an alternative, which was delicious) They didn't take card, only cash. The male bartender was very sweet and offered to charge my phone as it had died. (I didn't ask for this, which was very kind of him) The blond female manager was not very nice when my mate asked nicely to pay the bill. She said I don't know what drinks you have had, my colleague is in the bathroom. Ok thats fine. She waited. Then came back to the table. We chatted and then I went to the bathroom and came back to the bar after 5 mins and asked nicely again. She said he is cooking. I waited again and brought the empty glasses inside and explained this is what we had and I really would like to pay. So I politely explained we do need to leave and could she check. She said oh its been 7 mins with a negative reaction. She then checked and he came back and prepared the bill. I said to him, thank you for your service and left. I then had to come back for my phone as I was wanting to leave, I forgot my phone. I literally could have walked out without paying and they wouldn't have known, but that isn't right to do that. Overall the bar is cute and they have a great vibe, but that one person brought down the whole experience. Which is sad as the other people working there...

I used to come to this place quite often as I live nearby. Despite the very nice atmosphere, cozy space and live music, I have to say with regret that the service is often at the very poor level. First of all, sometimes they say they do not accept cards, then other times they don’t accept cash - or cannot give you the change because they don’t have it. Second, many cocktails are not available, the beer choice is often pretty scarce. And after all that, the prices seem to be increasing! So you pay a lot for the drink you didn’t even want in the first place (because of the lack of nice options). Finally, it happened to me several times that I was waiting to be served for 5-10 minutes at the bar and nobody just showed up, so I would leave. The bartenders often seem not very verbose, on the edge of being rude.

I am writing this review because I hope that something can change, as the place itself with its atmosphere and interior is...

I used to drop by this bar from time to time, but after my last visit, I’m never going back. An absolute disaster. We were charged 101 PLN (that 1 PLN seemed very important!) in cash for a non-alcoholic beer, a regular beer, and a double rum – which is not only ridiculously overpriced, but also suspicious in terms of payment. The bar doesn’t accept cards, which is already an issue in 2025, and never has enough change to handle basic service properly.

Over the past few years, the service has become terrible, and prices have gone through an insane inflation not seen anywhere else in Warsaw. No wonder the place was empty on a Friday night. It's sad to say, but this place has become one to definitely avoid.

The only positive point is that the place finally lives up...

“In the haze of absurdity” is what the name of this means. It’s a place that’s meant to transport you elsewhere with its own uniqueness. I’ve seen rave reviews of the pierogis served here, and I’ll gladly add mine. Who could imagine cranberry duck pierogis? Homemade horseradish liqueur? I tried them both here and they were fantastic. This is the place to walk on the wild side, try new things, allowing yourself to free yourself and just be. Grzegorz is a fabulous bartender who made my visit wonderful. Get a true taste of Warsaw—for your eyes and your stomach—and stop by here.

Love this place. Firstly, love the eclectic vibe. The warm cave dweller like paintings decorating the story and half walls. Get a seat in the loft for optimal seating for performances. Food is solid like the perogies. Drinks are affordable. We go on a regular basis for the music on the weekends. A mix of bands as eclectic as the place itself, I have never been disappointed and usually we're excited to hear new local bands. This is a staple of our Warsaw hangouts.

I couldn't believe they were still serving pierogi's at 11 PM on a Wednesday night. Did not expect them to be good, but they were great and full of flavor! The bartender was nice and helped decide on the flavors, based on best sellers/most liked. We did get a couple of beers from the fridge as well. The bar is cash only, but there are ATM's not too far away. Overall it was a good experience!
