Hotel Hetman — Hotel in Warsaw

We stayed 3 nights at The Hetman Hotel in Warsaw and the stay was correct. The room and the hotel itself shows very clean in all areas. The hotel is very well located with many transport options with a safe and quiet location. Our room was allocated in the back of the building avoiding all type of noises therefore, our stay was relaxing. I have to mention also, the receptionist made our check in around 12:00 pm that it was a great touch as we were very tired after many hours awake. The Hetman hotel does not have a restaurant but they have a small breakfast room with no more than 10 tables which is correct too. The breakfast is very complex from juices to cold meats…that it’s copious. Matthew (Mateusz) the waiter was the only member helping in the breakfast area, this gentleman is very attentive and makes efforts to greet the guests in their home languages. English, Spanish … etc. HK is a dedicated team who will leave the room ready for you with high standards but the reception staff was not very talkative at all, however they were very correct and helpful. I had a pleasant stay at Hotel Hetman from December 27th to 30th. The hotel provided a comfortable and welcoming environment that made my visit enjoyable.The rooms were clean, spacious, and well-maintained, with all the necessary amenities provided for a relaxing stay. The attention to detail in the room setup and the cosy ambience were commendable.The staff were incredibly polite and helpful throughout my stay. From check-in to check-out, they were always ready to assist with any requests or inquiries.The location of the hotel was convenient, offering easy access to nearby attractions and local restaurants, making it a great base for exploring the area.I opted for the breakfast provided by the hotel, which cost 55 zloty per person. The variety of options and the quality of the food were excellent, making it a worthwhile addition to my stay. The fresh and delicious selection each morning added to the overall experience.Overall, my stay at Hotel Hetman was enjoyable, and I would highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable and well-located hotel. I had high hopes befoe I arrived and was quite disappointed with the bed. This is one of my most important features when I book a hotel. There is a disconnect to the picture of what I expected to the actual bed which was a size for a child or small adult. When I first complained to the night attendant, I was bluntly told nothng could be done before she even checked. After I escalated the issue to management did I finally get a room with a bed which allowed me to sleep. I'm happy that management could help but just wish I didn't have to make such drama disrupting my vacation. The breakfast buffet was ok but I went mainly to the local restaurants which was cheaper with better quality for breakfasts. The WIFI although included was quite bad. Many times it wasn't even working and when it did it was slow and spotty. It's location is good and close to a subway metro station and trams which can take you to stare Miasto with ease. Overall the place was ok but please pay attention to what bed you're getting...
