The food is really good but the service is terrible. I went there with two friends. As soon as we arrived at the restaurant there were no waiters in site; when we sat down and waited for the menu there were no waiters in site; when we were ready to order after a long wait for a few sheets of paper there were no waiters in site. At this time the restaurant was quite empty with just 4-5 table full. We waited around one hour and a half for hour food. In most restaurants the expected maximum waiting time is 30 minutes, we waited more than double the time for three simple but extremely good dishes. As we waited and our frustrations kept growing one of my friends complained to the waiter as he politely asked where was our food. She said she would check with the kitchen. After 10 minutes of no answer from the kitchen we asked again where was our food, she said it would arrive shortly, which it did. Or meal was very good but it only consisted of three simple dishes (2 pasta dishes and one pizza) that should not take one and a half hours to make. As we finished our meals we asked for the check from a different waiter. She was extremely rude and started arguing about the wait time, finding stupid excuses and talking to us in a sassy and arrogant tone of voice. We stayed patient as to not drop down to her level. When she came back with the check she was again extremely rude and with the attitude of a 12 year old kid that just got sent to bed by their parents, she said “was it that hard to wait this time?”. I really hope that this restaurant can get some better management with timing as well as with service. A lot of the tables around us had the same complaints as us. The tables that were actually beings served got each persons food at extremely different times. I have never written a review for anything but after being treated horribly I felt the need to. The food is amazing but for the wait time and for the attitude of some waiters it is definitely not...
Read moreIt pains me to write this as this place used to be my favourite place to eat anywhere since 2017 and it’d always be my first stop when visiting the area. However, it’s gone downhill. The waiter, whilst polite and at times timid, seemed inexperienced. Went with four others, when their mains were delivered, it was clear that mine was forgotten about until that point and so I didn’t get mine until everyone else had almost finished theirs. Ingredients were missing; the flaming sausage was no longer flaming as they had no alcohol and anchovies weren’t available as a topping. In fairness, pizza itself was decent; anywhere else and I’d have been happy, but the pizza here used to be amazing. The cheese this time had a watery taste which made me question if it was genuine fior di latte as stated in the menu. The atmosphere has changed also, instead of attentive waiting staff and authentic Italian music, we had clueless waiting staff and no ambient music whatsoever. What a shame, I genuinely used to...
Read moreAmazing food quality! We are Italians and I can say we understand food and what good quality is. Staff is super friendly! We met the chef and after talking with him I can tell he was using authentic Ingredients with high quality. Pizza is Neapolitan style and the chef learned the correct technique about how to Prepare the dough from a pizza chef from pizzeria Da Michele in Naples (one of the best and popular pizzeria in Italy) The chocolate panna cotta was to die for and so good (and home made!) that we had to come back the next day to try the panna cotta with mixed berries. It was the best panna cotta ever tasted. Spaghetti with clams was creamy and perfectly cooked using pasta Rummo (one of the best pasta from Italy), and the tagliere of cold cuts and fresh mozzarella was perfect as appetizer!
Don’t miss...
