Bad experience: they only accept cash and this is an inconvenience, the almond and coconut pastels were not good, we asked for a pineapple juice and were brought an orange one and when we pointed this out they told us they would charge us extra even though it was their mistake. The queue to order and pay is too slow, the tables inside are not pleasant and if it is sunny you have to fight for the few places outside covered by umbrellas. Also, I would have liked to use the bathroom but the toilet paper had run out.

We came back the next day to try to get fresh pastry but we were disappointed. The tarts they were selling were quite burnt, and the pastry took away the flavour of the custard. Two pastéis de nata and two coffees were only 4 euros, and the pastéis were homemade and fresh out of the oven.
Not only that, they were delicious! They were the best pastéis I had in Albufeira, and I ate a lot of pastéis in Albufeira. I'd even put them on a par with the pastéis de Belém, but maybe in just in a good mood after stopping by here.
