Maxi's Warung Thai & Indo Food — Restaurant in Aljezur

We had dinner at Maxi‘s Warung - as I have symptomatic celiac disease I have to eat strictly gluten-free. I had no symptoms and the kitchen is very well informed - so I can recommend for celiacs.

They also have glutenfree soy sauce so they can make nearly every dish glutenfree. It is really great that there is a huge selection of gluten-free options - from vegetarian dishes to chicken or prawns.

I had the yellow curry (Massaman Curry), which was very good and tasty. I have traveled a lot through Thailand and the dishes were so authentic that I felt like I was going back there again while eating. Very highly recommended!

I decided on a main course and before ordering they checked with the chef if they can prepare it glutenfree. The employee was very friendly!

Lovely little spot, friendly staff and engage well with customers. Quite up-market but appears this area caters to that as for quality of restraunts over quantity.

The bill came to €41 (£37ish) for 2 cans of fizzy drinks, a starter and 2 mains. Average price you’d pay.

Dumplings were very soft, tasty and full of stuffing.

The Noodles were great, €14 for chicken which isn’t bad, although I didn’t feel like there was much meat for someone who enjoys a meaty meal. Although a big portion and filling. Personally I thought my Pad Thai was delicious, my partner wasn’t blown away by her Mei something (sorry I forgot the name) and said it was a “posh stir-fry”

Worst food i ever tasted in my life.I thought it would be good and ordered the food and they said me was super spicy but atlast the chicken was so smelling no any taste l. I have been to lots of thai restaurant never found such a place only with the huge bills.
