Alentejo - Pão, Azeite & Alho — Restaurant in Almada

We ate at the one in the UBBO Shopping Center in Amadora today. I ordered the Filete Mignon Menu dish, that came with a drink, coffee, and the entree. First, the photo of this dish is deceptive. It doesn't state that the so called filet mignon is actually a round piece of cheese, wrapped with a thin strip of what may be filet mignon, wraped around the cheese in one direction, then wrapped with what looks like bacon on the other direction. I was expecting solid, medallion pieces of fillet mignon meat, not cheap thin sliver wrapped around cheese. The beer size is small. As i didn't want to have a heart attack by eating those massive amounts of cheese wrapped in fat, i put everything aside and only ate the rice and beans, and cold fries. Ill never...

The food served here is not just delicious, its absolutely healthy. As a Gestational Diabetic individual, Alentejo has never disappointed me on maintaining my insulin levels. The staff has been super friendly, cordial and extremely accommodative towards my special dietary requirement each time I have been there......which is twice a week. I just wish I could have my meals here, everyday. If you are looking for lip-smacking, delicious, nutritious and wholesome food at affordable prices, this is your go-to place! Tive a pior experiência possível na unidade do Alegro de Alfragide. Pedimos, minha esposa e eu, dois pratos de fatias de picanha, que por sinal não passou nem perto de pedaços de carne de segunda. Além de impossível de comer, estava claramente estragada. Foram cinco pedaços finos de uma carne que não de pôde comer um pedaços sequer. O arroz com feijão possivelmente era do dia anterior e as batatas fritas frias e murchas. O gerente tentou ser simpático, mas por saber da péssima qualidade da comida, tão logo nos serviu e saiu do restaurante.

Além de tudo, a limpeza do local era precária, mesas e todas as superfícies sujas, cheiro desagradável no ambiente, bandejas engorduradas, e nem copos de vidros havia. O chão estava pregando de sujeira.

Literalmente nunca comi nada tão ruim quanto aquela comida, que infelizmente deixamos quase tudo nos pratos, e só não reclamamos na hora para não termos o dia ainda mais estragado.

Jamais, digo veementemente, jamais coma neste lugar, nem sequer comprem bebidas não lacradas, pois depois do que vi, não...
